Seems like it has been missed, but Romo played really well.

He looked just like last year. Not making mistakes. Making good throws. Moving the ball.

Now, if we can get a RT and stop shooting ourselves in the foot.

No way a team with an elite QB and an elite Defense doesn't win some serious games. Just chill

Romo was fantastic last night, you're right. Also led the team to a winning TD that would have been the stuff of legend if Baron didn't think he was in the WWE.

Romo is GOD! :laugh2:

Of course, some think Choice's fumble was Romo's fault! :lmao2:

Guy makes the O Line look way better than they are. Less mobile QB gets sacked five times last night, espescially when the defense knew he had to throw the ball.

Of course, if Barron hadn't held, Romo would have been roadkill and the TD pass would have never happen.

I suppose I prefer the TD and holding penalty to no hold, no TD and Romo crushed.

Either way, Barron screwed the play.

Romo is Romo, what more can you say. The way he plays is polarizing. You either love him or hate him. The bottom line is, the guy straight up makes plays. The offensive coaches should probably manage him a little more, but he is a great quarterback.

The only bad decision last night was the deep floater to Miles, which was compounded by Felix drawing two men to the same part of the field (probably a wrong route) and Romo not reading the Safety coming off Roy in the cover 2 and moving over to Miles. Otherwise he was brilliant.

Romo still looks magical late in games. Did anyone notice Dez running that Bang 8 (ala Irvin) ?? u put Dez as starter with Austin looking like one of better receivers its just matter of time until Dallas starts putting up big numbers.

I was waiting for a thread like this. Romo is awesome. He continues to make plays and not get enough credit. With our OL, there's not one QB I'd take over him.

I completely disagree. If Barron just shoves him back a few times, even if it doesn't move Orakpo, but holds him up for a few seconds, Romo makes that play. Barron went for the sleeper hold right away.

BUT, this is a Romo praise thread. So again, ROMO IS GREAT!

We are talking about Barron though. :laugh2:

On the last play of the game he was brilliant, I'm sure he would have avoided Orakpo either way, he has done it a million times.

Romo was very good last night. He hasn't always been my favorite, but, I am damn glad he is the Cowboys QB.

I know that the Barron hold was a doozy and a stinger, but, I am glad it happened for the sake that Romo didn't get injured. Barron was getting eatened up by that Orapcake or whatever his name was for a while there. And if Romo couldn't avoid that guy, he was gonna get skunked badly.

Good play by Romo and yes Wood, that bang 8 route by Bryant was a serious deja vu!!!.

Romo has BY FAR the best career passer rating of any active quarterback late in the game when the score is close, as well as in the fourth quarter AND in the last two minutes of a half. He's so good in those situations that it's ridiculous. It's just too bad that last night's magic went for naught.

Adam do you have any stats showing this i was arguing this with some packer fans here in wisconsin they think he is terrible in clutch situations

He had a GOOD game. Clearly wasn't to blame for yesterday. But he threw some bad passes here and there yesterday. Good game but not fantastic.

When he gets a clean pocket, it's almost a guaranteed long pass. It's just fun to watch. The moment you see that he has time to throw, it's just sheer anticipation of how MANY yards we'll pick up.

Often times, if I see he is getting good protection, I will stand up out of my seat in anticipation.

He did it to Landry earlier in the game who had a clear shot at him.

Honestly there is no point in blitzing him from his front side. Even if you get someone free he's going to make them miss.

Remember when Collingsworth said this drive will determine if Romo is one of the elite quarterbacks (or something to that effect)? Well, Romo led the Cowboys to a TD on that drive. It didn't count, but that wasn't Romo's fault. As much as this loss hurts, I feel like it will make the Cowboys stronger. They learned some things about themselves last night.

The stupid mistakes CAN be fixed, but will they? The defense has to find a way to FORCE some turnovers, but will they? I think Buehler will be fine. And yes, Romo is great.

Like last night, when we kept going deep to our deep threat Roy Williams.

I am depressing myself.
