The run game is broken since the bye

I wonder if teams have decided to stop the run and force Dak to beat them.

There is no RB who can make plays when there is no hole. They cannot just run into the line and have it split open. If no hole exists then the play will go nowhere. If the RB is getting hit before his 2nd step the play will go nowhere. Great RBs do not just get the ball and magically make holes, they are good at finding the ones that exist and going through them and not going down on the first hit, once they get going, but if they do not get to get going then simple physics means that the opposing team will not struggle to tackle them.

The thing of play calling is running different routes.

But maybe thats too much to ask from boy-wonder moore ?

Great RB's make plays all the time. Great RB's find the holes better than others. But yah, Zeke is like any other back.

Except there needs to BE a hole to find one and the RB needs to not get hit before the 2nd step (because otherwise they simply do not have enough momentum to break tackles because physics). You do not need an all pro OLIne, but you need at least a competent OLine to do anything and Dallas had the worst OLine play this week in several years. It was by far the worst pass blocking performance this season and the rushing performance was no better.

Pollard seems to break longer runs every game though so he's finding some holes with less chances.

Because our players are slow. We have one of the slowest teams in the league. Micah is fast but that’s about it. Rest of our team plays in slow motion and that bites back. We need speedsters.

I don't think we did in this game. And it's not just Zeke but with Pollard also. We had several situation where we got 4 yards on 1st down run yet we didn't keep trying to run it.
At the end of the game, we had 3rd and 2. We could have ran twice to get the 1st down. We passed and go sacked on 3rd down.

Any coincidence Tyron has also been out for most of this stretch? The line isn't run blocking well and 2/3 games pass blocking has also been terrible.
