It is sad to see how the owners have been ruining this team and have not been able to put together a good team, and they have not tired of making mistakes with overpaid contracts for players who do not respond to the salary they are paid, that is called incompetence, and above all they have not understood that the mentality of buying cheap does not work for them, last year they hired more players in free agency and they tried harder, and the team improved, but now they return to the same thing, look for the cheap and only hire players who haven't left in free agency, grim, losing mentality.
Today's reality is that seeing how the teams have been strengthened and if we go with that expectation, the cowboys don't have a chance for many years, because first they will have a chance to win an SB teams like Chargers, Tampa, Chiefs, Denver, Browns, Bengals. Bills, Raiders, Titans, Rams, I assure you that Dak's contract will end and the cowboys will not win or reach an SB, the cowboys having opportunities to hire very good players in free agency, have been seen as losers, pathetic.

Man I was worried for a while! Wondering where today’s first doom and gloom negative post was

We are just an overhyped version of the Cleveland Browns.

They are at least trying though, so they are passing us up.

Were you around back, oh maybe 5 years or so ago I made a prediction. I said the Browns were closer to a SB than Dallas was. As I was frustrated about another Garret ruined season. I took a lot of flack because of it.
Now I would bet many would agree. :muttley:

Yes the FO's philosophy hasn't changed in years. It has been and still is...let's bring in a bunch of talented players then wish for the best. They want high SPARQ testing athletes. The sad reality of being a Cowboys fan is...we may want them to change their approach, but they won't.

But like I've just said in another thread...big time free agents help teams inspirationally more than they are statically.

Dang that's harsh... Dak needs to work on his accuracy. Needs more hanging tires in his back yard. Sheesh.

As long as we have amateurs running the team, their are many more sad days in the future.
We are at a competitive disadvantage.

More whining!!!!!!!

I am not happy with FA so far, but let it play out and let the draft play out.

This board sounds like a bunch of 5 year olds crying because they don’t get what they want, right now!!!!!

Yeah...it's only been 26 years. Greedy spoiled brat fans.

The cowboys didn’t do anything different in free agency last year. As a matter of fact, the fact that they even had just a little bit of success being cheap last offseason in free agency just reaffirmed their stance on free agency. They’re stupid and they think they are smart. You can’t have a worse combination.

It is possible for the Cowboys to win in spite of their ownership. I admit, the probability is drastically reduced, but it's just the present reality that must be endured by a Cowboy fan.

I couldn't quit being a fan, that wouldn't be fair. I was sure enough there celebrating when they were in Super Bowls starting in 1970 and I will never be a "fair weather" fan.
