Points wise on the value chart that is almost 350 points difference. There just isn't a good way to do that.

Maybe but next year Dallas has a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and two 6th round picks in a deeper draft than this one.

Keeping the first three choices in 2027 is vital. Not sure there is a LB worth giving up one of those picks plus some of the capital Dallas got last night from Philly.

Never know with those connections but I don't think you will see the Cowboys trade back into the 2nd unless it's the tail end and there's a player at LB or CB they really like still there. Getting to the late 2nd is probably their 3rd, a 4th, and 5th. If someone falls into the 3rd I could see them making that move as it likely just requires 1 4th to go from 92 to say 69. Would absolutely do that to secure a position of need. They would still have 2 4ths and a 5th to address depth.

They would need to use the second pick of 2027 and some pick from this year, maybe a 4th, to be able to trade for a pick from this year.

They need to attempt that sooner rather than later. Miami is dumping players for next year picks. Maybe a '27 2nd will do it and Brooks would be worth that imho.

Way too expensive trading into second. If we trade up or add a pick, then the secondary’s 3rd rnd is much more realistic if a particular guy was there
