I have lived in Tucson since June of 1989. In that time I have known 1 guy who is a Saints fan. He doesn't wear any other gear except University of Arizona. The Saints have always been his team.

I went to the store yesterday and 2 guys had on Saints knit caps.

I bet you 5 bucks that they know nothing about the team beyond maybe 2008. It is pathetic how some people only back a winner.

Happened with the Colts, happened with the Giants (I live in NY and where I was wearing the usual bandwagon fans jump onto the Giants & the Jets fans jumped onto the Giants bandwagon it was insane and so frustating seeing so much blue but atleast it has faded because of the dieing Giants and the Jets making it to the AFC Championship), happened with the Steelers and now it happens with the Saints.

Next year when we equip the Lombardi in a trophy case in Valley Ranch it will happen to us.

Good God. I can't stand that! This guy at my work started this season out as a Steelers fan. (of course he's never even been to Pittsburgh). Then, all of a sudden, he's a raiders fan...?????? Where the **** did that come from?

He used to talk NOTHING BUT **** about the cowboys all season.

"Romo this, Romo that"....blah blah blah

Then, the day before the Cowboys/Vikings games. He shows up to work in a Cowboys Sweater!! Are you ****Ing kidding me?

Lots of people post here all the time that became fans of the Cowboys after the 90's Super Bowls. Just the way it is.

I work at El Paso International Airport. El Paso is mostly a Cowboys and Raiders town. In the last two weeks I've seen about twenty Saints jerseys. I hadn't seen one before then, not one, in my entire two years working here.

Most of those people claiming that were little kids. I am not talking about a kid here. I understand perfectly that when you are young and impressionable it is common. This isn't the same thing.

The most stark example I ever had was a kid I went to school with named Felipe. I was drawing a picture of Tony Dorsett one time in 1977 when I was in the 8th grade. He wanted me to put his last name on the drawing. I asked if he was a Cowboys fan and he said he was. In the Super Bowl though he said Denver was going to beat Dallas. I questioned him about his changed allegiance and his only response was "Orange Crush." Dallas won and he was a Cowboys fan again. Would it shock you if I told you that for our 9th and 10th grade years he was a Steelers fan?

It did me. I don't mind admitting that I am still shocked.

Same thing here in DC and even the Skins fans are getting annoyed.
