For some reason, I woke up at 6am, and instead of doing anything productive, I spent some time wondering what I would do this offseason. Productivity.

Sign: Dez Bryant, Justin Durant

Cut: Doug Free, Brandon Carr (June 1st cut)

Let walk: Bruce Carter, Demarco Murray

FA acquisition: Suh, Zone CB

Restructure: Tyron Smith, part of Tony's contract. For 2016, we're about 45 million under the expected cap. Plenty of room to maneuver. Restructure Tony's just enough to fit in FA acquisitions. It's not my money.

Pick up Melton's option.

Suh is the most feared player in the league (as voted on by players, even more than Watt). Him, alongside Melton, and with McClain behind them, would be the most physical interior defense in the NFL. For fans that believe in building a defense from the inside out, well here you go. And there's never been a question of Suh's work ethic. Lock him up similar to McCoys contract, and you're set for 5 years.

Draft: First 4 rounds

1) Nate Orchard DE Utah - Will play strongside DE. With Lawrence at WDE, Melton at the 3, and Suh at the 1, our atrocious OL from last year did a complete 180.

2+4) Melvin Gordon RB Wisconsin - Yep, another trade. However, one I think is worth it. He falls to the 2nd round, where we gladly trade up for him to run behind our young OL. Explosive running game, all for an extra 4th rounder.

3) I'm going QB here, although I could see them going CB if they can't find one in FA. I don't know anything about the QB's coming out, so I'll say Garrett Grayson from Colorado State. I read he can make the throws, but may have trouble running an NFL offense. Let him sit for a few years, and gain confidence behind our OL.

With Carr gone and Claiborne disappointing, CB is going to be a need. I don't really like any of the FA's, but this is my plan for now.

Now let's BTHO the Jags tomorrow.

I love you first 2 picks but I think letting Carr go then who plays CB? We will need a day one starter at CB then. Its the hardest position for a rookie on defense to step in and play day one.
I'm ok with a QB in the 3rd if he is worth it and the top player on the board at that pick, but if there is a player that is higher on the board when we pick I go with that player over the lower rated QB.

Suh would be a crazy get, with that DL you have above and then keeping Crawford, Selvie, Mincey and Spencer for rotation, that would be a dynamic DL. But I doubt it happens with the money he wants. I would be happy with Paea.

Your plan is incomplete, right now all we have is Scandrick starting CB. WE need two more. You don't know who is going to be cut.

Also you forgot to resign McClain.

ZThis is why I like to wait till after the season for mock drafts and talking FA signings.

You did not address RT or RG is Martin moves over, or are you talking Parnell taking over? Not as sold on Gordon as others, rather get a good corner or Safety in rd 2. Suh is supposed to be a bad lockrroom guy, though I like his ability. Also O Line is likey to be highest ranked player on the board when they draft first few rounds, OG looks stron this year.

I like Gordon as a runner, but I don't like trading up for him. He is a 2 down HB. I think he winds up in the 2nd half of the 2nd. I wouldnt be surprised if Abdullah goes ahead of him

I love Gordon but don't think he is worth trading up for. I would be happy with coleman or Langford

Yeah he left alot unanswered. Like who replaces carr and Claiborne since he let Carr go. Then who replaces Free. Pat ell is also a FA.

With Gordon, if he was half as good at pass pro and as a receiving threat, Id be willing to take him in the top half of the 2nd. He can get better there eventually, but until he does he is a 2 down back. He's a guy I may consider with our 2nd, but If you told me I could take Gordon in the 2nd or Coleman in the 3rd I take Coleman in the 3rd all day

True. But right now, i think Carr being a June 1st cut is about 99% probability. He'll be martyred for the sake of the cap.

Parnell will be resigned.

I just really liked Gordon, admittedly i'm not up on most college players. I think CB in the 2nd is a definite possibility. RB in the 3rd or 4th.

Syracuse football CB Brandon Reddish continues strong senior season vs. Jamison Crowder

The senior cornerback drew the assignment of Jamison Crowder, the Blue Devils two-time All-ACC wideout. And while Crowder hauled in nine passes for 58 yards, Reddish made him work for every inch and a good chunk of the damage came in zone coverage

could always pick this kid up for CB
