1. Carolina Panthers: Marcell Dareus, DL, Alabama
At this stage I’m getting the vibe that the pick will either be Dareus or Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert. However, with too much downside to Gabbert’s game, I see them going with the safer prospect in Dareus.

2. Denver Broncos: Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU
Peterson is a big-time talent and in my view one of the best prospects in the entire draft. He possesses a lot of upside and will be able to start in the Denver secondary early in his NFL career.

same thing I got

Yeah that would stink.

I haven't kept up... But you being a USC guy, do you not like Smith or think he's worthy of that pick?

Smith has to be the only Top 10 prospect that when people project him to us, it's base entirely on A) his measurables and b) what he COULD be. Never about what he's done or how dominant he was in college. Always about what he could do or will do.

So Ingram drops out of the first round altogether? That would be one heck of a slide for him.

If he slides past Miami and Washington, it could be a big slide. In this case they had Washington getting Julio Jones, so I it made sense. And if Mallet was there and Miami happened to be one of the teams that liked him (you never know) then that makes sense too.

I just have a feeling someone takes him in the 1st.

I didn't even notice he was missing. :laugh2:

That would be a big drop for Ingram....Somebody will get him if he starts sliding
