Who/where are these nay-sayers?

Everytime I hear one of the Seattle players speaking or being interviewed, they go into this 'nobody believes in us' garbage.'
'It's us against the world!
They said we couldn't do it- we knew we could!'

?

Kinda immature; screams of lack of true confidence, in my opinion.

Most people I've heard sing they're praises, if they say anything at all. I've even given them credit.
That schtick is tired now. I'm cheering for New England.

I don't believe there's been a champion in any sport that wasn't "disrespected" or "not believed in". It's just sports cliche at this point and it works as motivation for some guys I guess.

True. They've simply taken it to another level for me- one that actually generates lack of respect.

they are overrated

this what they are talking about. They wete also questioned early in the season as was the pats. People do underate them. They win with great d and a running game. They dont have the passing game that so many think you need. Its ugly at times but it works. Back to back superbowl appearences and possibly back to back wins. If thats overrated then give me overrated

Well, there was all the drama after we crushed their soul in Seattle, they lost to St. Louis, and the Percy Harvin trade. At that point, it was looking like they would not be making another Super Run and many in the press questioned if they would even make the playoffs.

I'm to the point I don't care who wins, probably Seattle, but been thinking NE lately, let Brady get a 4th so Montana and Bradshaw, 2 of my more hated teams, has someone that has as many as they do.

Right now I have no interest in watching the game. One team is a bunch of cheaters who bend the rules to their liking with a commissioner that will look the other way because of his relationship with the owner, and the other is a bunch of thug mentality players with a coach whose lack of character drove him our of college ball. There is no team I have a desire to root for. May go to a movie, may work on Sunday evening, hell, I may take the wife shopping. I just don't give a damn about the game

Ya it's pretty tough to play the "nobody believed in us!" card when your team was a 7 1/2 point favorite in the game.

I'm sure the NFL can survive the loss of .000000001 ratings points with your absence.

I try to avoid reading anything with the name SEATTLE in the headline. I cannot stand that team.
