3rd & 20 we give up the big play

Numerous mistakes all around, our big playmaker was actually Jeff Heath..

But we've spent big resources there--Mo Claiborne 1st, Byron Jones 1st, Brandon Carr FA splurge, OScandrick big resign, legendary d coord Marinelli.. imagine if these guys lived up to be a good secondary smh.

Same damn story every year... D gives up a back breaking drive with less than a minute left.

Ultimate this team will never be **** til the D is the strength. Hopefully Jaylon Smith is blue chip and we create a elite D this offseason. It has been clear nothing else will win for us

Please don't spend another 1st round pick on DB. I think Brown will make a solid starting CB next year. Try to bring back Claiborne on another one year cheap deal. Carr is reliable health-wise but shouldn't be a starter. Try to get something more out of Heath. He's young, athletic and seems to make plays.

At LBer, keep riding Lee as long as he can stay healthy. Get Smith up to speed and they can make a nasty duo. I like Wilson at SLB.

We need to make a lot of moves on the D-line. Collins is the only guy I trust. I'd like for Irving to be able to win the starting SDE position but we better find some competition for him. We need another dominant DT who can form a dominant DT duo with Collins that could transform our defense and help our DEs. Try to package Romo and our 1st round pick to move up in the 1st and get the best RDE we can possibly get. He probably won't start next year but he can split snaps with Lawrence (who will be playing for a contract so expect a big year).

I rewatched the game. The secondary was OK. The pass rush was the problem. Great play by Rodgers. No one else in the league could have made that pass. Irving was clearly held.

What gets me is how we get flagged for almost every little thing we do but the Packers come away with 2 penalties? You're deciding games when you do that.

At least have the courtesy to call holding when our guy gets tackled so that we don't have a game winning field goal attempted on us.

I agree. We would have won the game in overtime. They are complaining about the K.C-Steelers 2 point play and I hear nothing about the Irving hold. Rodgers is good but that cost us the game.
