Was it Romo?

Was it Frederick?

In re-watching the game I noticed Martin was always looking back at Romo and slapping Frederick on the butt before the snap.

He slapped Frederick just before the bad snap.

It very well could have been Martin who caused it.

LOL. Martin hitting Fred is the trigger for Fred to snap ball. That was Martin's job because Fred had his hands full with Mebane so was not looking between his legs for Romo's signal.

But good eye. Some completely missed that and continue to not see it even when it was pointed out to them.

Still Romo, dont change plays like that in loud stadiums. dont try to be a hero, dont try to make things harder on the team, and they went and did it. Keep it simple, keep it effective.

It was also a bad snap. Even if Romo was ready the ball was low and to the right. Just an all around bad play.

Re-watch the game, many of his snaps were similarly low - Romo just happened to be standing more upright at that point, not expecting the snap, rightly or wrongly. It wasn't an issue of delivery, just one of timing.

C'mon man, do you really believe what you're saying? So 8 men in the box, Romo can't audible to a higher percentage play? Then you'll be screaming when it gets stuffed. So 6 men in the box on a pass play, Romo can't audible to a run play? Then you'll be screaming when he throws an interception because everyone is blanketed.

Romo is a top tiered QB, and yet you want to strip him down as if he were a high school QB? Get real.

The sequence:
Romo raises left leg.
Martin slaps Fred.
Fred points to something with his free hand.
Romo puts his hands in the ready for the ball position.
Fred appears to quickly look back (drops his head).

lol.... hope you're being funny. He audibles or pretends to audible every single play. Sometimes they have 2 plays called ahead of time and he picks one (he say "kill" to either change or pretend to change it.) And every hurry up 2 minute drive is him calling the plays.

The man changed the play with great success on many occasions last week. He's just doing his job, not trying to be a hero.

To me its a miracle they can get the majority of the plays off with all the crowd noise.

It was a mistake had by all....while it sucked and I screamed at my TV, all is good...and, on the positive side, giving Seattle 17 points at home and then STILL beating them makes us look all the more impressive...the offense scored 30 on the vaunted Seahawk defense, me likey dat

i would guess that romo thought he had enough time to signal the wr's and was wrong. looked like he had already signaled for the snap. but romo seen something late and wanted to change the play. happens alot and in most situations the center can hear him but in seattle thats not the case

we changed the play many times and beat the defending super bowl champs. seems to me they were doing the right things to really dominate the seahawks

Dallas did a real good job of disguising which movements actually meant snap the ball and which didn't. Because of that, though, it isn't surprising that the silent snap count would be miscommunicated once.

It's actually surprising that we didn't false start several times.

Ridiculous.

And of course no one mentions how poor the actual snap was . It was almost ground level .

Still hard to believe but ever so satisfying. We shocked the world, again.
