Sorry, been using that for too long to give it up. Don't like it, ignore my posts because it's going nowhere. And if you don't like that, you probably won't like Lady JaGa either.
Send that Cat over there to straighten him out !!!

Meh, not worried about it much. If there is something wrong, I don't expect it to keep him out for too long. We'll see.

Come on folks, he was actually out there IN THE GAME, running around on that knee and caught a TD pass.

This isn't like Adrian Petersen 'season over' level or anything.

I keep going back to Tony on the bench wanting to get back into the preseason game against the Seahawks, and the x-ray showing nothing... we don't know anything until the MRI results are released. And given how coy Jerry was about the disclosure, and how quiet Dez is on twitter, I am not optimistic.

Actually I think this is more like the time Frederick broke his leg in 7 places and then kept playing for 3 more quarters without allowing his defender to get a tackle and then he didn't tweet about it and then he missed 2 seasons before coming back.

The thing about an acl tear is that you can actually run straight ahead fine for the most part. It's when pressure is applied from the side that it's a problem.

That said, a doc can generally feel the instability, but not always, so just because he went back in and ran around, even scored, isn't a guarantee that he's fine. It's strange that nothing had been said about the mri, even for this team. That makes me fear the worst, and if Jerry says day to day that will be confirmation.

It's doubtful to be an ACL tear, it will most likely be an MCL issue.

Come on guys, if Dez has to sit for a week or two it's no big deal, it's not like Dak was targeting him a lot anyway!

I think the angle it was shown at made the injury look worse. From what my eyes saw his knee bent more in an angle of function than what I originally thought. Meaning less strain on the ligaments than at first glance. But heck I didnt go back and re-watch it so Im not sure, just my casual observation.

Needless to say I'm still worried sick lol.

I imagine it cant be that bad. Wouldnt we hear rumblings of the team working out some WRs of they knew he would be out a while?

On NFL network they almost made it sound like the Boys where waiting for Dez to present him self for the MRI, that they where frustrated because he had not yet.

Maybe that is why the delay.

This is what I thought. They have a terrible time trying to get him to show up on time because he has no concept of time in general.

More likely he doesn't want to get shut down for whatever length of time based on the MRI results. Probably a struggle between player saying he's "OK" and team (doctors ) wanting to do their due diligence.

My guess is an MCL sprain............that would explain how he came back into the game and even scored a TD. If it was an ACL, he would not have been able to apply any sideways pressure on the knee.

Also, the trainers would have preformed a Lachman Test to help determine if there was an ACL injury.

(sports medicine was my minor at UT)
