i have been avoiding this place for obvious reasons
and opening the fan zone
yep its doom and gloom just like i thought

first the Eagle trade
its a good value no doubt
Jay is excellent

i dont know that it wins them games this year, i personally thought they have a good run game already. this makes it better but theres only so many balls and they did well so
we will see i guess
if anything i thought with Peters age a trade for a tackle would be a great great addition
they are a good offense with Wentz playing well but taking many hits
who is his back up?

on attacking Dallas FO
the Cowboys are not 1 player away from contending!
the Eagles already have a top defense and a good offense
thats why adding a tackle would be a better trade but you cant pass up a rb like Ajai of course.

Dallas has a good young offense and a poor young defense
they need to be strong players in FA for sure but only if the guy they need is there
i want a top safety and very good LB, DT
if they are not there right now then they go hard this off season and trade aggressive in the draft
they also need a wr and rb

this offseason i dread Giants game because Dallas had Carroll , Heath and rookies against good to great receivers like OBJ and Sterling
but you never know how it will play out

looking at another team and pouting because they got a toy doesnt mean they win and doesnt mean your team sucks because they refuse to pay idiots like Bryant or a dude like Dareus with big contract and questionable effort
if you cant be patient then i wish you would take your poison and leave
Eagles havent won anything but a lower draft pick at this point
some of us remember the DREAM TEAM
every year 31 teams are disappointed sooner or later
unless you are Belicheck it takes incredible good fortune and balanced team
Dallas doesnt have Eagles strong defense
they only needed Wentz to play decent and he is playing well

losing Zeke
people think the season is over
yes, i agree now go away nothing more for you to see or say
bye
this is a chance for Dak to lead his team
he will or he wont, we get to see

remember Romo was a GREAT qb some years
but without a great defense he could only carry the team on his shoulders so far
as Jerry said, its a great regret not to give him the pieces

im going to avoid this place now because it isnt Eagles success or Dallas struggles that make me dislike football
its the terrible fans
the crying pouting and trolling like they are smarter than others and it all sucks because not the way they want
only negative
i think it is their life that must suck more than a football team
I thought the op was for the most part upbeat...o_O

One silver lining is better this year than next for his suspension.
Trudat...I also mentioned in the comment section following the OP that a silver lining for me, anyway, is that we won't have to talk about this anymore after 6 weeks...can't wait.

j...I just can't get political in a comment, but integrity slowly leaked out of Union related dealings, when nothing more than a percentage of cash flow was the opponent. Administrative findings are now a political stunt for aspiring hopefuls to be tagged as a negotiator, for personal gain and show type of results. Not for the letter of the law or intent at all.

What has that done? Nothing but remove matters of real integrity from the work arena. One now has to comply with a company line to protect inquiring into the real wheelings and dealings going on. Labor Law was created to protect the worker from abuses and protections for less than legal means of remedy. Remedy is not missing from earlier law and court rulings. Precedent changes that and then becomes 'the' law.

I hate that view, myself...and deeply.

Oh yea, X...thanks for some good discussion and your thoughts.

Lies dominate and privilege is auctioned off to lesser players.

As to the Cowboys, if somehow they are able to walk away with a Kansas City win, they should be in the mix strongly. That is, against all but Philadelphia, at present.

If Dallas doesn't win this weekend, all bets by this fan, are off. And it is what is left on the table after each week's game.

I don't blame you, necessarily, for considering giving up on this season...but I would think it premature. Because regardless of what happens this weekend, they don't have to win out to make it to the playoffs. If they can figure out a way to survive Zeke's absence and make the playoffs even as a wildcard, they still have a really good chance to put it all together in all three phases.

Per Tweets today, Chidobe was limited, meaning he may play this weekend. How much that add's, I haven't the slightest idea, but even a little better coverage could go a long way to help their already somewhat dominant passrush. I suspect if the Cowboys can get to Alex Smith early and often, the Cowboys have a chance.

But taking the long view, like I said before, if they can merely survive / stay afloat / win 3 of the next 6, they will still be very much in the running. And remember anything can happen to the other teams in this race, so giving up now could mean missing the story of a lifetime unfold.

I never give up on my team...but if there is a win this weekend, against a strong running team, then the team has some defineable mojo going for itself. If they don't, then their rudder isn't really steering their ship. They are still and flux and lower down in team strengths than those who will contend for a Lombardi. It's about the halfway point already...

Fair point, but there is still time yet for them to put it altogether. But I'm with you; like all games, this is a litmus test of where they are at. I've always said, ideally, you want your team to be playing it's best football by Thanksgiving. In my mind, it's the perfect time to get hot and go on a run. Unfortunately, they'll be opening that run with the last three games of Zeke's suspension, so here's hoping they find something among the backups.

The silver lining will be watching Goddell hand Zeke the Super Bowl MVP... ala Tom Brady.

That would be awesome, however, there is a bronze lining to that too! That happening could save Goodell's job, because the ratings for that event would break records.
