Sports media, other team fans, and even some Dallas fans have been feeding the 8-8 monkey for quite awhile. He's grown fat. He's not even clingy anymore. He just lays there like a lump getting hand-fed free .500 bananas one after the other. Still, the team made it through September with 3 wins out of four games.
Does the team have six more wins in it? Jason Garrett and Tony Romo have been lugging around that 8-8 monkey like a sack of weights Terrell Owens used in his driveway gym way back when. Personally, I think this offensive line can bear the weight of an overgrown chimp and help this team run for six more wins. Minimum.
