I wondered about that as that that song was my first awareness of Elvis. I lip synced that in a school talent contest, came in 2nd, should have gone with Pat Boone as I had first planned. Yep, too early for any metal, especially his. One of the coolest albums I ever heard was Paul Anka doing big bans covers of rock tunes like Black Hole Sun, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Eyes Without a Face and this oneShould have gone with a Pat Boone metal song. Lol. Probably too early for that.

Now, I grew up with Big Band, Sinatra so to me I thought this was great.
I laughed at the critics at first and then I heard it and got what they were talking about. It sounds like a novelty idea but he's a very successful songwriter and was paying tribute his way, the big band way, to some songs he really liked.You may be the only person to call Paul Anka “cool” since the mid 70’s. But this is cool. I’m going to check out the album
