I love the artists you are coming up with. I recently saw Trout Fishing in Amercia, and Guy Clark is one of the greatest songwriters ever.

One - Three Dog Night
Guy Clark is one of the Godfathers of Texas Songwriters, he's a legend for sure.
TFIA is awesome, first saw them in the early 80's and have been a big fan ever since. Great musicians and great guys! Where did you see them at?

Kerrville Folk Festival. Decided I had to do that once in my life. Interesting experience. lol

Yes, they are talented, and a lot of fun. I wasn't actually aware of them before.

I got to see Guy Clark twice. Last time had to be one of his last appearances. He had trouble remembering words, and his voice was getting weak. He probably wouldn't have made it through if Verlon Thompson hadn't been there with him.

So now you're officially a "Kerrvert"....lol
Hopefully you stayed and camped out for a few days, the best music is wandering all the different camps all night after the main stage. I haven't been there the last couple years, but went just about every year in the 90's thru about 2010. Lots of cool people, lots of odd ones too, but it was always lots of fun.

.

Yep, that’s what they told me. Also a Kerrvirgin”. Unfortunately I did not camp, and that cost me the chance to see a lot of what I had hoped to see. Those small impromptu sessions were what I had in my head when I planned to go. I still saw some great music. Unfortunately the last day was rained out though.
