The Stadium

All Jerry is thinking about these days is the new stadium. Firing a HC is the last thing he wants to deal with. After a losing season in '09 he will gladly fire Wade and Garrett.

Jerry Jones has his new stadium, so there really isn't any pressure on him to change his ways.

Again, the reason Bill Parcells was brought to Dallas was because Jerry Jones feared the voters wouldn't approve of a new stadium if the product on the field didn't get better.

I dont believe that, it makes perfect sense, but I think jerry was so down and realized he is not fit to do what needed to be done.

Unfortunately for us, once things get going in the right direction again he wants the credit and the attention and he becomes mr. nfl gm again.

Its sad. God I hope the dolphins win the whole thing.

If Jerry Jones was down and out and finally realized he wasn't a Football Man, then why has he changed and gone back to his old ways in just 1 or 2
Seasons.

Now, hiring Bill Parcells to get the new Stadium probably wasn't the only reason but I am willing to bet it was a major reason why he did it.

I think he really bought into what Bill Parcells was selling and I think he really liked Bill Parcells, that is why he gave him a contract extension after the 2nd year.

Because he cant help himself. He thinks we are a superbowl team and he senses an opportunity to go and put himself up there having a hand in everything. He brought in owens, pacman, tank, davis, hamlin.....He hired the coaching staff, he has final say on draft day on everything...etc...

he is the same guy as he was years ago. He wants to stand up there and tell everyone how his way works. And he keeps thinking that it will.

At some point it will just be sad, like in the raiders case.

I know it won't happen, but I would love to see a bunch of empty seats in that stadium next season.

That's about the only thing that will get Jerry's attention.
