The Cowboys have experienced so much bad luck over the years that, at some point, the pendulum will swing in the other direction. This could be the year.

There is very little dispute that this team has underperformed. But make no mistake, it IS talented. We could be the Giants of 2019.

I think we will beat the Eagles on Sunday and with that become NFCE champs. We will also best the Skins the following weekend to go to 9 and 7 in spite of resting all of our key players who need to get healthy.

Maybe we will catch lightening in a bottle and advance to the SB this year. Time will tell. But make no mistake, it IS possible.

Under the rules of chaos, the pendulum isn't swinging to be eventually in the Cowboys favor. Good fortune doesn't just happen because you waited it out, you have to plan for it, you have to earn it. The Cowboys aren't there yet and may never be there with an owner/GM that conducts postgame locker room interviews and encourages players to call him coach. The Cowboys are destined to be embarrassed if they make the playoffs at all. Can they go on the road and beat the Eagles?

Wait. Wait. Wait. Does Jerry really encourage players to call him coach? Cause that's my first time hearing that.

Well I'll take a good coaching staff over the stars.
However as I said when I slapped 5k down this summer in Vegas. We have the talent, if Richard's continues to run the defense in full attack mode. Kellen continues to move Dak and use the run, we can be good and make some noise. It starts by destroying a totally talentless eagles team.
Jason it's in your court.

God bless this team.

He isn't actively telling them to call him coach but he doesn't correct them and you can tell he likes it when it happens.

The first sign may have been the league overruling the ref about the coin toss.

In the past they would’ve issued a clarification the following week so no other teams would be affected.

I thought the first sign was Vegas giving the Rams 3 points the second was the coin toss . Maybe Jerry has done enough this year to garner the Cinderella story . As we all know the NFL is governed the same as wrestling for entertainment purposes and the outcome can be manipulated

You mean like it was in the 90s? All this time I enjoyed those championships, thinking the Cowboys actually earned them. Now you're telling me they were fake?

So you’re a wrestling fan, right?

that's wishful thinking as opposed to reality....that's us fans wanting something so bad that we dare to dream. its not going to change. its going to be one and done and if there is any lighting it will be one win playoff. this team is got too many flaws to succeed in post season......on to the next coach and the next few years of hope, and ending in suffering and the next coach.

So you’re a wrestling fan, right?
Absolutely not but I did watch the NFL back when it was great and there is no comparison to this impostor we are forced to stomach today . Where every exciting play is diluted by a flag and the wait to see how it turns out . Every bullspit play is celebrated. And the Pats just get to continually cheat and nothing is done about it .

You need to be thrown off of the forum. How dare you profess positive outcomes for the Dallas Cowboys. The shame of it all. ;)

It's about time Verdict and thank you. You honestly never know what can happen.

There's a saying that goes something like "good luck is the result of preparation meeting opportunity". If that's the case, then logic would tell me that bad luck is the lack of preparation meeting opportunity. That said, you are correct...get in and something good could happen. But you have to get in, first. I think they do just that on Sunday.

“Fortune favors the prepared mind”

But that will fall on deaf ears on CZ

Was thinking the same thing last weekend. The tide has got to turn some out later.

I hope the OP is right in that things might line up for us, but it's also possible they don't win any more championships for decades. Case in point, look at the futility that is the Browns and the Lions. Knowing that, i'm happy i got to see my team win those 90's Super Bowls (i was too young to see the 70's guys).
