Hi Guys! Well, honestly, a few years back i gave up being a fan of football simply due to the lengthy run of just feeling like a loser for something I had little to no control over. But after getting a good look into what has happened in Dallas this year, I have hope more so than I can say that I have had in 25+ years. The one thing that stood out like a good sore thumb more than anything during preseason was the defenses swarming tackles. They were absolutely crazy in the difference between this year and the past 35 years or so. This defense not only swarms to the ball, but they DO NOT MISS TACKLES! OMG, That in itself made me feel so shocked, it was an awesome shock.
The other item that I am VERY interested in (and I know this may seem controversial to some of you) is the strange but very cool fact that Dallas waved the strongest armed QB in the entire NFL, Joe Milton III, and shockingly kept a hold of Sam Howell.I am not going to say sorry about this next fact, but i am sooo very hopeful that Dak gets injured early this season, because I honestly think that Sam could step into the QB position and bring us to an SB win! Have you seen Sam's past? Are you guys aware of the potential that exists within this fella? This guy has been there and done that at a championship level, the only prob is that along his career he may have made some poor choices (insisting to stay local when moving from HS to NCAA) but in nearly every situation when Sam was in a position to win in the big game, and including being heavily under favored, he has gotten the job done. This dude is only missing one thing, that being a prime chance at finally being able to show and prove the fireworks he can bring to a ball club and a high pressure game. No offense to Dak, but hey man, if you are going to go even 2 and 2 early on, we are going to ask you to injure or fake injury..... we no longer have time for mediocre.
Lastly, DO NOT be surprised if we end up having a top 5 defense. WATCH OUT!
That said, let it be time for both new and old stars to shine, and shiiiiiiiiiiiiine briiiiiiiigght baby!
