I just enjoy it for what it is now. I don't allow the games to bother me like it did.

Hey man, if you're on the ledge then I say jump! Get yourself an origin avatar if you want to be taken seriously. Rowdy is for bums.

I know for a fact that I'm not the only one who feels this way...

After last season, when a team with so much talent and all of the great stats in the world couldn't make it out of the first round of the playoffs, I am officially in "prove it" mode.

I don't care if the Cowboys go 16-1.

I don't care if Dak wins the MVP.

I don't care if Parsons gets 26 sacks.

I don't care if Dallas is the #1 seed in the NFL.

All I care about at this point is what they do after the regular season. Basically, we can be in the middle of the season and the Cowboys could be demolishing good teams left and right, and I won't believe that this year things will be really different. The reason is that they've given me, since 1996, no reason to believe that. I do hope they prove it to me.

This doesn't mean I won't root for them. This doesn't mean I won't be happy with a win. It means that at no point during even the best looking season, will I think "these guys are different -- this is our year!" A couple of wins in the playoffs would turn me around. Until then, I just don't believe that they are anything other than a good regular season team that loses in the playoffs.
26 years of getting kicked in the sack does kind of temper the joy of winning during the regular season.
If the Boys can't make some noise in the post season this year, then I hope they go 5-12 next season. Jerry needs to see a few seasons of stinking at the bottom of the NFC east in hopes that he hates the taste of $hit.

Wonder how NE fans felt going 19-0 only to lose in the SB.
Then again they had past SB's to reflect upon also.

Cowboys played a better team in the playoffs and got beat. Simple as that. Our Oline is now in complete shambles and depending on much resources Jerry uses to fix it, could take a year or two. Until that Oline is fixed this offense will be inconsistent and struggle against good defenses.

If you care enough to create a post telling us how much you care then you are just typing your way through it.
