So, let's look at the state of the NFC East about a quarter into the season. The Giants are an abysmal trainwreck who might be the worst team in the league. The Commanders just lost to the Bears and are at 2-3. We are 3-1 going into a tough battle with the 49ers, and the Eagles haven't lost yet. That said, the Eagles have looked rather shaky of late. As of now, I think the Cowboys and Eagles are the class of the division, as usual. I'm looking forward to our games against Philly. I think we are very much capable of winning the division. I think we can take Philly and keep the division trend of not repeating alive. I think our defence can take their offense, as long as we keep Hurts contained in the pocket and not let them into Brotherly Shove territory. I think their defence has holes that our offense should exploit. Their secondary has looked very shaky, and Hurts has been throwing a lot of interceptions of late. If the Cowboys play disciplined against them, I think this division is ours for the taking.

He only has 3 in the 4 games so far this year and none last week.

True, but it's still not great, so I've been told. Point being, I think we can sweep them if we are disciplined and play our game against them. This division is ours for the taking if the Cowboys play as the Cowboys should.

As far as the division goes, we just can't get two (or more) games behind Philly...as even that modest deficit is probably insurmountable.

Thank goodness WAS lost tonight. We could have ended up tied with them...with both teams two games behind Philly...this coming Monday.

Depends really on how we fare against them imo.

The Eagles look shaky every damn year and still find a way to be a pain in the arse. Do not ever count them out. They’re like the little gnats you can never kill.

Yes. Those interceptions have been devastating. All Cowboys fans wish Hurts is really a bad quarterback. If only the wishes come true. The LA Rams have been surprisingly good. Everyone characterizes the Eagles as “shaky”. Rams have the Eagles at home Sunday. This should be a loss for Philadelphia. Right? Do they even have a chance with their overrated quarterback?

The Iggles are not the same team so far this year, and we are coming off 1 stinker. The Iggles O is coming around, but their D doesn't look as dominant. Our season starts Sunday, this will tell us where things are at before even thinking Philly

I'm really interested in that game. Rams have been good and competitive this year. A Philly loss right before our game makes things even more interesting Sunday night. A chance for first place.

Style points are not a viable statistic so you can't knock the Eagles for not winning the right way. A win is a win is a win. And the Eagles are undefeated a quarterway into the season. So they are the top dog in the NFC East followed by the Cowboys, Commanders, and Giants in that order. I believe this will change as we get into the meat of the season. The Cowboys will overtake the Eagles in the weeks to come. Go Cowboys!

Can anyone really say this is not almost exactly as expected?

How interesting is it going to be if Philly wins?

About as interesting as you missing these key words.

Can't have a simple conversation with some people on here without some smart *** response.

Add to the fact that YOU said 'Rams have the Eagles at home Sunday. This should be a loss for Philadelphia' makes your response even worse.

I'm hoping they do lose to the Rams. As for the Eagles, their secondary has looked a bit shaky.

I know they are, but that's why I said if we can be disciplined against them and play our game against them, I think the Cowboys can beat Philly. If we can, this division is ours for the taking.

Outside of 1 hiccup the Cowboys look like the best team in the division

but for right now Philly is undefeated

The Giants are a half away from being not only 0-4 but 0-4 giving up over 150 points and scoring only 3

The commanders could actually be 1-4 right now....that team simply isnt good...

Exactly, I figured the Cowboys and Eagles would be the class of the division as usual, but I didn't expect the Giants to fall off the map. Washington is well, Washington. They're inconsistent to the point where you never really know what team you're getting with them.
