Interesting that we played against the pass better than the Eagles even when facing a great passing team as opposed to their Rams.

Whose secondary is better now?! :D

17 tackles in one game

yikes

Tackles as a stat is notoriously ill-kept from team-to-team. I know that the Colts for instance receive something like 40% more tackles than average from their scorer.

It also varies a lot based on skill level around you and scheme.

But yea, Fletcher was all over the place against the Giants.

Funny. The one position, which could be argued as having the most productive day, was receiver (yes, I'm lumping Witten in there too). Kinda ironic considering the handwringing which followed Austin's and Hurd's injuries.

Those aren't the team stats, those are from NFL.com. He probably had 25 tackles according to his team.

your point is? please tell me you don't expect a Cowboy or Cowboys unit at the top of every statistical category after one week of play.

The point is a simple one. To show where the Cowboys players/team rank after week 1. Not a hard concept really.
