Let's check the positives.

  1. Romo is taking the field.
  2. Dez, Witten, DeMarco, and that offensive line will support Romo in scoring points.
  3. The defense absolutely cannot get any worse than they were last week. Only up from here.
  4. As a team, we play very well from the rear. We haven't learned how to be a frontrunner yet.
  5. Jerry has been receiving a huge dose of humble pie which means he will most likely not be meddling.
  6. Garrett, while average in handling situational period of the game, will pit up points.
  7. We just have to get pressure on Flynn and do a solid job stopping their run.
  8. The heart of a champion pumps the hardest when backs are against the wall. We'll be ready
  9. Kiffin may be losing the defense but Marinelli won't let that happen.
  10. We have found our identity. We are a high powered offensive team with a mediocre defense. We must "outscore" opponents. The Saints did it. We can too.
  11. Lastly, it's the Boys. You know you'll be right there with the rest of us cheering on a big win!

Appreciate the optimism as it's in short supply these days.
I'm having a little trouble with #7 but hopefully the defense will respond to being embarrassed

"Mediocre defense" - uh, no. We WISH our defense was mediocre. It is historically bad. Hard to cover that up even with a "high powered offense" of which I don't really think we have either.

Agree with #9, as I hope Kiffin retires, and Marinelli become DC
As to #7, I think they will respond to the run, Lacy has an ankle injury. And the defense after getting ran on from previous weeks, repond well to stopping the run. They did against the Raiders. After 3 days rest from the Giants.
#11, yes true. However I have afriend that bashes every single thing now days, even if a blade of fake turf looks out of place. If they win it's an aberration. Sometimes I think he wants them to lose just to complain more.

The Saints took it all the way to the Super Bowl bro. Same identity.

I don't know if I can say the "defense won't get any worse than last week." Who's starting at LB again? I'd like to see Holloman if he can go, but they'll be looking to run it down our throats.

For the most part I agree with you. We have to go out on offense and try to score on every possession.

I would absolutely love to see Holloman on the field. It may happen this week.

I love the positivity in here!

I'll add to the OP's list by saying we are CLEARLY a better team at home than we are on the road. We should beat the Packers convincingly in our house and gain a little confidence back, then roll over that soap opera in Washington, and then end the season by returning home and squashing the Eagles for a SECOND time this year.

Then we can get nice and hyped for a HOME playoff game!

Although there weren't any on paper or the stat sheet. We had or nearly had 3 INT's last week. We force 2 turnovers and somehow manage to lose only one ourselves, we win IMO.

Ware sounded a little pissed at his lack of pressure last week. I think Flynn is gonna feel the fire.
