Who do you think will be this year's surprise cut?

As a reminder, last year it was a whole host of guys...Barber, Williams, Colombo, Davis, and Gurode. Though Gurode may have been the only real surprise.

Right now, Victor Butler tops my list. I say this only because we have depth we can develop at OLB. Spencer and Ware are the two big names as the starters. Kyle Wilber is going to make the squad. Adrian Hamilton is very intriguing.

That leaves Butler vs. Alex Albright for a possible final spot. Albright has contributed more on Special Teams to this point. If the team feels he and the other 2 are developing they may part ways with Butler.

That is why he is my pick. Note...I like him. This isn't about not liking him. Just my gut feeling.

Good one. I only choose McGee because for some reason the team just seems content on letting him hang around. But he needs to be cut. With Kyle Orton on the roster 3rd QB is expendable this year. McGee isn't our future. We need to draft a QB next year.

A nice thick porter house, cross grain and thinly...stacking them neatly cross a platter of stewed red potatoes and gravy.

Surprise?...we pretty well know who has to have a great camp:

Kenyon Coleman
Stephen McGee
Kevin Ogletree
Phil Costa

...and if Rob Ryan wasn't so high on him, Brodney Pool.

I'd go with Church and the 'rook' Johnson. Then McCray made a showing and was strong on special team's play.

I'm a little slow on Tanner, due to his getting invaluable training and experience in pass protection requirements.

McGee, Coale, Costa, and Pool are my wild guesses.

Oh, your fingers just wrote a check your butt couldn't possibly cash.

Get your affairs in order.

Woa, easy fella'...

Kevin Ogletree.

He doesn't appear to be a self-motivated player and that means he's not the "right kind of guy". He'll need to be head-and-shoulders above guys like Coale, Holmes, and Radway in order to make the 53. And he won't be.

We'll save some coin and give those snaps to younger, hungrier WRs.

I don't know how much of a surprise it could be considering he is still botching snaps in OTA's but I will go with Costa.
