,,,yep, his numbers are downright gaudy..

BUT...I've watched him the past few seasons in Buffalo...particularly when we had their first round draft pick...

He would sleep walk through games...ZERO emotion.

What we are seeing now is a fiesty team leader. Yesterdays exchange with Key, right or wrong, who cares...he showed fire.

Same with his tossing his helmet...the way he congratulates the o-line, etc...

For those of you who have seen him more than me, is this a new version of Drew Bledsoe?

Juke, I agree 100%.

I liked the Bledsoe signing, but I did not think it would be this good.

You know when he came hear he talked about winning a Super Bowl, you know the regular talk everybody speaks, but he is showing me he means every word of it.

He is becoming the unquestioned leader of this team.

I am loving his emotion.

He has just looked great out there, and yes his numbers are awesome.

What I really like is the 10 TD's and 3 INT's

And really it should be 1 INT. One was a hailmarry at the end of the half, and the other was not his fault IMO bouncing off Glenn, and a great play by Parrish.

I think we all have to give the O-Line a lot of credit here as well, they are making it all possible.

Plus he is playing with hope here, he had the fire in Buffalo his first year. After that Bills managment traded or released all of his weapons. It deflated him I know it would me as well.

I think any talented player put into a bad situation will
net you bad results, but in todays' game everything bad gets
put on Bledsoe.Face it, Buffalo screwed themselves and
we should all send them a Christmas card.Drew has given this team
a spark it has been missing for years,i don't know who this guy
screwed in the media, because i think he can play with the best of
them, and yet, he's treated like some scrub, another "bus driver"

I didn't see every Bill game, but Drew looked frustrated some in 2003/04 early. He took an 0-4 team last year to damn near 10 wins. That takes leadership as a QB....

In New England by mid 96-00 he was a vocal leader. Very fiery and led a lot of comeback wins. I don't think there is much to "Bledsoe's" personality and fire started this year. Cowboys fans are just seeing it first hand real time.

I dismiss half the Cowboys/Bills fans hatred - especially after they witnessed 2002 4500 yard all pro season and dismissed it.

I was against the signing of Bledsoe.........I wanted to go with youth and I still do but at the same time who could not be over joyed with the way the man has performed.

Buffalo wanted to go with youth as well now Kelly Holcomb is QB'ing their team while Losman sits back and trys to learn. All we can hope for with our young QB's is they continue to work and learn.

Agree...... and at this moment in time who could ask for a better mentor than Bledsoe. As juke said, this version of Bledsoe is clicking on all cylinders. ;)

Yep. Buffalo and a good number of other teams that could've had Bledsoe and weren't interested. The Ravens come to mind, as well as the Texans, Bears, Saints, Cards, and 9ers, and Lions. Even the Dolphins would be better off with Bledsoe instead of Frerotte.

Almost all those teams committed themselves to one particular guy, in most cases with little reason. This is where a series of supposed "curses" (Henson's unreadiness, Carter's drug problem, Vinnie's age, and Parcells' penchant for going with "his guys") all combined to be one big blessing.

I think its great for Romo/Henson to be watching this. And Bledsoe is a mentor - I aassure you he's working with the kids (if they want it). He did it with Brady JP pissed Drew off in reto it appears. He let into JP upon leaving - something he didn't do with Brady.

All in all this is Bledsoe's team. I'm not sure Henson/Romo have tools to unseat him anytime soon.

If Bledsoe continues to play at this level.......I ask you, who in his right mind would want Romo/Henson to unseat him.

Romo/Henson simply need to be ready if the circumstances dictate they play.

sort of shows you how Coaching and motivation can turn around a player just as fast as putting them a position to fail will hurt them.

i knew Drew would be better than any QB here since '96-ish Troy (and expected a HUGE upgrade from Vinny - who was worse than mumbles) but he has totally exceeded my expectations for leadership and skill levels.

gotta love him getting on Key for the fumble... like a true leader of the O would make their presence known.
