The tactical move would be to sit Tyron for the Philly game as well (in addition to Lee)

I mean, let's be real -- that game in Philly is an L even with Lee, Tyron, and Bailey (...and w/o Zeke). Sit Dez too if he's still banged up.

The better move from a WC standpoint would be to take the L in Philly and hope that Tyron (and Lee?) can be back for a winnable game at home, on Thanksgiving, vs. San Diego.

Honestly, Dallas would have an exponentially better chance beating Philly at the end of the year, when they'd be resting all of their starters, and when Dallas would have Zeke and (hopefully) Lee and Tyron healthy.

I thought it was in Dallas rhis week....

It could be. Would that make a difference though? I mean, you don't want to mail in divisional games, but this matchup vs. Philly is a bit daunting given the key injuries as well as the Zeke suspension.

Yes, let's rest our key players until we're completely out of the playoffs

If Tyron is not quite ready, and could really benefit for 4 more days off (rather than risk re-aggravating that groin), it might be judicious to sit him Sunday, no? Instead have him rested up for a more winnable game?

Honestly, it may not even matter. I see the Cowboys as no better than 2-4 during Zeke's 6 game suspension, which they're already 0-1. 2-4 during that stretch would put them at 7-7. Your guess where they go from there is as good as mine. Definitely has the feel for a 7-9, 9-7, or (gulp) an 8-8 type season.

It makes a huge difference.

It's a division game. Nobody mails in a division game, especially on a team in WC position. And not at LT when you're basically asking a division foe to take out your QB. It'd be dumb both in the short term, and tactically for the rest of the season.

Just play the games, see what happens. PHI is a very good team. They aren't a great team. It's a game we can win without Elliott if Tyron and Lee are available. Without either one of those guys, I have my doubts, no mailing it in.

Tank the next two games and let's see if they can get hot in December and go on a run. Being healthy for the stretch run is more important. And who knows, maybe they can somehow steal the Chargers game

This is the NFL with million dollar players. And we must keep Dak from getting killed. If he can play, Smith should play. Otherwise, rest Dak. The Eagles passrush is stout and they will get to Dak over and over.

Hmm...Chaz vs. Brandon Graham and Fletcher Cox. Sounds fair to me. Don't think Dak will be happy though.

They could have easily gone 3-3, maybe 4-2 in Zeke's absence if Tyron and Lee were healthy. With reports being that Lee is going to miss a few, I don't think it even matters if Tyron plays or not. The defense cannot stop a nose bleed without Lee in there.

The line on the PHI game is -3/-3.5 after yesterday's loss, by the way.

We need to do the opposite.

WE have 4 losses already and Philly just keeps on winning.

Dallas needs to get Lee out there anyway they can. Even if that means JAylon piggy backing Lee around telling him where to go.

The loser mentality of this board blows my mind. It’s quite embarrassing actually. If I was on a team of any kind, some of you folks would be the last people I would want in the trenches with me. Grow a pair or go the **@# home......

Well then you need to telegraph that to the team, because guess what, WE don't get to make those decisions.

IF Tyron is healthy to go, play him. We already know Lee won't go. Is he the last one you would want in the trenches, because of that hamstring of his? I can tell you this, when he's out there, he's the best player on D.

It has nothing to do with a 'loser mentality'. If Tyron is really dicey going into Sunday, I could envision this team, this training staff (say what you want) holding him out for possibly playing 4 days later. We don't have the quality depth some (most?) teams do. It is what it is.

But what it isn't is a "loser's mentality". Like we have a say in what the Dallas Cowboys organization is going to do personnel wise. Some of these responses are quite amusing..

5-11

Gets us a top 5 - 10 draft pick. We need another impact player. A difference maker.

This team is a shell of itself without 3 of the best players at their respective positions.

As things look right now for this ball club, the Giants game might be their only win. The current state of affairs is pointing in that direction.

On paper, you’re right but you have to worry about the team morale.

We have 4 very winnable games in a row after Sunday.
