This week was the begining of the playoff race. You can see the spead and aggressiveness has increased for the teams in contention. Chargers, Patriots, Commanders, and Giants.

Their defenses aggressive, good tackling, and keeping the offense on their heels. Yet the Cowboys have seamed to be stuck in mud. No creativity from the defense, no spark on offense, and ST is in deep sleep.

On the offensive side of the ball the team looks lost at times, waiting for someone else to make a play. You have 5 Vets With 4 2 yr players, Yet their is no fire in that unit. How many times Do we have to start an offensive series throwing a 3yd out route that is int and ran for a TD( Denver, Giants, Chiefs( got lucky he dropped it), and Commanders.

Lets not Mistake Bill P. For an offensive Coach. The plays that are being called make no sense. Bill B of the Patriots looks like he knows he is no offensive genius and lets his OC call the plays and run the show. He sticks to what he knows( Defensive game planning).

This is Bill P first coaching job without Bill B and the usual track record for Bill P to turn a Franchise around needs work. What amazes me is that all of his old assistants are still with Bill B or with other assistants that became Head Coaches. Bill rules with a iron fist, he knows talent, knows every situation that will arise, and is a sponge about anything football(knowledge).

But what good is that when you can't get your team to play Confident without fear of your wrath. Thats what this team looks like. He should take over the defense because Zimmy is in over his head( throw him a lifeline).

Bill B as Bill P's assistant was the opposite of him( more of a teacher, guru, shielded his defensive players from Bill P) Has brought in only 2 defensive players that he has coached or should I say Bill B coached. Most of the players he brought were offensive players ( that he coached).

It doesn't matter how genius a play caller one is...if your QB gets sacked 7 times, gets knocked down 11 times, has 2 intentional grounding calls against him and basically had about 2 seconds to throw the ball each snap ALL GAME LONG no game plan will help.

Torrin Tucker got blown out nearly every single play. The entire offensive line played HORRIBLY. during halftime Howie Long was saying Dallas needs to go ahead and look at adding a QB. Maybe we do, but if Dallas doesn't do something to fix the o-line we'll never be a real contender. I know we'll get Adams back, but other than he and Allen (who's not getting any younger) I'm not sold on ANY of our starters.

Our rush defense looked pretty horrible also. And Newman needs to learn how to wrap his arms around the guy when he tries to tackle.

Generally uninspired football today. We just looked tired.
