This is all well and good right now, but I'm sure we'll be back to winning 8 games or less next year. I'd be thankful, if this were a well run org and I thought we had another shot.

Well said,,, I don't think the better team won yesterday, but I do think the coaches and players maximized their potential this season given their talent deficiencies. I'm optimistic that the team will improve next season.

I'm thankful for Romo's health, people were already throwing dirt on his grave at the start of the year. Getting to see him play in Wembley was the happiest I've ever been.

The Lawrence pick is looking frisky, I have hope for him.

Dez continues to get better and apart he was robbed of being a playoff hero.

Garret seems to be improving, not completely sold on him but if I don't mind him getting a new contract.

Beasley is a great little player and they would be crazy to let him walk.

Terrance Williams nose for the end zone is something I don't understand but I love it.

Witten continues to be solid as a rock. That head fake in the Lions game ..wow

Martin making the all pro team is amazing, what a great pick.

Hitchens was a nice addition.

I sure appreciated this season.

I'm not sure I can explain how little I care about the rest of the playoffs now. And now we're in the offseason. Man, I hate the off seasons.

I'm thankful I have bigger things to worry about that put a football game in perspective. Yeah it sucks, but it's not IDF.

Keep your head on a swivel and your butt down. And watch where you step.

Are you still in Afghanistan?

They gave me alot of happiness this year.
Far exceeded all expectations. I believed we could beat anyone.
Its been along time since I felt that.

I'd agree if it weren't for the OL..

Tough game yesterday but part of Football.

There will be those that will say that it was a bad call and hey, it did look like a catch to me. There will be those who say that if not for the fumble and that too could be true. It sure looked like a TD if not for the fumble. There will be those that say our D gave up the big 1st at the end of the game and that's true too. They tipped the ball and it dropped into the WR's hands. Heck, probably would have been an over throw if not for the tip. Missed FGs, whatever the case, all of those things may be true or maybe you think they are not, doesn't matter.

What I take away from this season is expectations at the beginning and what the team was actually able to accomplish. I have to say that this was one of the most enjoyable seasons for me I have ever had the privilege to watch. Great, great season out of those guys and I look forward to what the next season brings. Can't wait for Spring Practice. Thank you Dallas Cowboys for a great season!

I agree. It has been a long time since a Cowboys' season ended and I was already looking forward to the following season as I am today. Because of the drafts of the last 3-4 years I have confidence the holes in the D and the undergirding of O and ST will be addressed.in the coming draft and off season. I certainly hope we do not lose any of our key people, players or coaches. We have a winning coaching staff and a good player core to go forward. I never thought Dallas had any chance at the SB until playoff time arrived. Now my confidence and enthusiasm are through the roof. There were several 'what ifs', etc. and ref calls, but through it all it was a great season that we need to celebrate and look to the future.

I'm very thankful for this team. We're going to be a force the next handful of years and while this was a missed opportunity, it'll be all that much sweeter when we win it all next year.

Good post and a great season. We saw a new run first offense and much improved coaching all around that finally was able to get some things done.

Much to build on here, hopefully the train stays on the same track for once. Some defensive talent and this team will be back in the hunt.

Best, most enjoyable season since the last championship season from my perspective.

The team is on the rise.

We are at the very beginning of a long succesful run. That play so the type to propel us and be a footnote when the story of this team is told.

2 year window at most because of romo

We need a real back up QB who can win us a game or 2. As crazy as it might sound the best option might be Sanchez (I know I know but think about it)

I am thankful that I can enjoy this off season with hope and anticipation going into next season. To be honest with you, last off season I was as down on this team as I have ever been and that includes the Campo era.

I'm thankful for Jason Witten and Dez Bryant. Two players that have brought emotion and passion for winning back into the Cowboys locker room.

Yep. I left as soon as the board cooled off, and forgot to even check when I came back. I don't even care what happens next week in the NFCCG, which ought to be a great game on paper. What a bummer.

The positive side of that is... whomever comes in to replace Tony in 3-5 years will be playing behind an experienced o-line in its prime and will be helped by a defense that is much better than we have seen for a few seasons.

Finding that guy while still drafting low will be the biggest challenge.

I don't disagree that Sanchez would be a good backup to Tony.
