On pace..

Choice-710 yards
Barber-950 yards
Felix-687 yards

Crazy!

I realize that Choice won't get the carries that he's been getting with Felix out but we could have 3 RB's on the roster that each have 650 yards or more rushing.

I realize that Choice won't get a full load like he's been getting but we could have 3 RB's on the roster that each have 650 yards or more rushing.

Choice has great vision. I love watching him seek yards when handed the ball. That TD run today was special.

Ya he's such a good RB. Garrett needs to give him the rock at least 5 times a game now. Mind boggling on how he won't though.

I think choice is one of those guys that needs 10 carries a game. I don't see why there can't be games where Dallas starts a different back, rotates and goes with the hot hand.

Its almost like Redball has a predetermined script and will not waver from it no matter what.

True. I think Barber just needs to carry it 10 times a game. Keep him in for blitz pickup and to get that 3rd and 2.

My dream scenario is Barber 12,Choice 10 and Felix 10.

That won't happen though

Barber has looked like he's running with one cement shoe. Hopefully it's because of his quad, but man, it looks ugly.

Choice so reminds me of Emmitt.

DISCLAIMER:

Oh stop it already, I did not say he was as good as Emmitt. Go back and read it again.

Zero doubt in my mind that he is hurt. Put him on the bench until he is healthy please...

I would like to see them rotate the guys and go with the hot hand. Also would help to keep Barber fresh for late in the games and down the stretch.

Hopefully? It's clear as day the guy hasn't had a chance to heal. He's such a warrior he refuses to sit out and the coaches are doing him and this team a huge disservice by not forcing him to sit out...

I really really like Choice...They have got to find a way to get him more involved every week. The thing about Felix is that you can do an awful lot with him offensively. So i'm hoping once he's back, they can find a good way to make all three work. Maybe just wishful thinking, but I think Choice should definitely get 10 touches per game regardless of whose thinking.

He always seems to have the hot hand when he does play, btw :D

Is it me, or does Choice look like he gets faster in bad conditions? He almost looked quicker today and in, say, last year's Pittsburgh's game; almost as if other guys are slowed down by the field but he continues on at a normal pace.

The unfortunate truth is that none of those three guys will ever get the carries they deserve. I think the easiest role to define is Felix's. He's not the guy you want taking the bulk of the carries and he's also the guy you can just insert on any given play and, poof, he's gone for 40 yards.

Choice strikes me as a player that gets better with more carries. I do think he's someone better served to get 10-12 carries than just five. Barber is a great energizing force with his reckless style and the classic finisher, short-yardage and goal-line guy. You can't give him too many carries but you don't want to neglect him either. He seems to run with the most purpose early and late.

I can't help but wonder if we'd be best served by starting Barber, playing Choice for most of the second and third quarters and then giving Barber the fourth. All the while Felix is given a smattering of plays here and there. Just a thought.

The good news? I think out of the group Choice most closely resembles a rhythm back, but none of the three really seems to need a consistent dose of carries to be effective. I like that.

You probably knew this, but Wade admitted after the game that Barber was *not* 100% yet.

Hopefully he will be after a week of bye week healing.

I have yet to see Felix go in motion and catch balls across the middle or outs.

I think we all talk about him doing this but it's just wishful thinking. I wonder if Garrett is saving those Felix screens for a rainy day. Because it's baffling that we havn't seen him get one screen pass all year.

I'm Glad Barber got his money when he did.. If Jerry had waited a year he would of gotten about 1/2...

None of our WRs have been doing that either.

*Didn't get to see quarters 1-3.5 yesterday so I don't know about yesterdays game.

So true.

And from what i see i think he is the only RB on the roster that has the quality of playing a whole season.

The only "downside" that i see from Choice is that he is a back who needs some carries in the game. He is someone who gets better with every carry. That is no downside if he were the starting RB. Every great back is like that. They need some time to get acclimated.

But in Choices position right now he will only get 5-7 carrys a game. And i think that's not enough to get him into e real rythm. I don't know but Choice to me more and more looks like a franchise back. I am scared of the day where we may have to decide which back we will keep for the future. I hope we won't let him go cause i think that'll be a big mistake.
