They were just playing a song, and said it was a legit song, Cowboys Nation, by some guy, Fat Pimp.

Any way a DJ on a Houston radio station is a Cowboys fan. He played that this morning on his radio show. The station supposedly sent him home for rest of the week.

Oh no, they sent Rob G home? Awww, he takes heat from those guys everyday for being a Cowboys fan. I hope he didn't get in trouble for that.

For the record, I listen to 97.9, Rob G has been taking it on the chin, on air, everyday for years. I don't think one song should get him suspended when all they do is rip him for being a Cowboys fan. I'm mad for him.

Hopefully he gets plenty of attention for this.
Probably good for him and the station.

Bet they have him on in Dallas with GBag Nation tomorrow. (Gavin came from a Houston station)

I grew up in Dallas and we were taught Houston was dirty and trafficy, just no reason to go down there. That was about it, but if you are in business you still tend to go here and there and get through it.

I moved to Houston about a month and a half ago and have actually learned to really love the city overall. It's a nice place and I enjoy where I live. But man oh man, if I thought I was taught to dislike Houston, the venom in the other direction is INSANE!

I embrace the hatred.

It's Houstonian.

After looking into it a bit, I think he was just booted off the morning show, but I'll confirm that tomorrow am.

He did the lunch mix for the radio show so he wasn't suspended completely off the job. Again, I'll confirm that tomorrow.

I been here for 6 months, which was about the amount of time projected to be here. Overall it's been good. No problems or issues. The worst thing was the guy saying he wished Watt hurts Romo. And normally he was a pretty decent guy. So I know that was just the football bs stuff. The area I'm in everyone actually been decent.
If they get the contracts they are going after, I'll be back in January.
