Sounds like BP broke up with Dale and he is very angry. I agree with the caller that Dale is way out of line calling BP a lyer because he told the reporters not to be presumptuous about Peerless & the Cowboys. They already had him signed before he signed.

BP & Jerry probably talked over the signing in regards to money and the player contribution to the team. Even Jerry mentioned in his interview that there is only one ball to go around. If Jerry convinced Peerless to sign a one-year contract, BP & Jerry should be congratulated not beat down like Dale is doing today.

One thing I do know, he is giving me a head ache. If he doesn't want to attend the press conferences, that's he and his boss' business/decision. Why does he have to trash our head coach because he doesn't spoon feed him what he wants? One less talking head to mess up the flow. It's all good. Now, if we can just take away his mike. :shoot3:

So what he wanted Parcells to do was tell the entire league we wanted to sign Proce very badly?

Hansen has been loosing it for the last couple of years. I understand he doesn't like Parcells...neither do I...but give the devil his due.

i respect hansen but he is negative on everything. he doesn't like parcells just like he didn't like campo or gailey or switzer. that's why he isn't on the radio doing the games with brad sham anymore. he's just too negative

I can't stand Hanson.

He has envy for Parcells.

Hanson is okay but when it comes to the Cowboys he wants to be bigger than he is.

I wish they would just fire him.

Dale Hansen should grow up. He covers the NFL, not daytime soap operas. The NFL is a business and the media should focus on accurately reporting the final results of a story--and not dwelling on the, "I thought the team was gonna...".

The media should always approach stories as journalistic professionals, not as fans. It clouds their perspectives too much.

If you look up the word "bitter" in the dictionary, there's a picture of Hansen.

Since his falling out with the team during the Switzer years, the anger and bitterness have just eaten him up.

Say what you will, but I still think he did a great job calling that '92 NFC Finals against San Fran. :D A lot of catchy soundbites from Dale in that special NFL Films did.

Excellent take. That's it in a nutshell.

He just said "BP is a heckuva coach but I just don't like his style". I don't care if you like his style. Who are you? Just somebody with a mike and an opinion. It's one thing to voice your opinion but another thing to come across like it's not just your opinion. And another thing, we know you hate BP, can we move on, please.

Conspiracy theories aside, it is possible that we did not think we were going to sign him.

We did not quarantee him #2 or #3, we offered a one year contract with incentives.

He probably got the same kind of talk from everyone else, and we are a team on the way up and the QB that threw him the ball in his best year is here.

Agreed. But he is just not the same guy anymore. He has such an axe to grind with everyone at Valley Ranch that he's simply lost touch with reality.

He's probably mad because he wants to be able to read BP mind, which he can't. Furthermore, since Parcells is very low key on his moves (and I don't blame him, that's his business since he's head coach) Dale's gotten even more irritated because BP wont feed his loquatious ego. I guess since DH is an old geezer he thinks he's got a right being the first mouth to feed the media every tidbit of BP and his battle plan. You just aint got that luxury anymore DH, so get over it. I personaly don't want the battle plan out... I'll be satisfied enough to see it next Sunday.

I used to get fired up when everything was going wrong, and Dale was used to being Mr. Aftermath, when he chewed up Campo's dumbo game decisions, and everything BP did last year when everything was heading south. Now he's just not sure which boat to poke holes in... Since BP aint giving up the battle plan this year, he can rest on faulting positions that haven't even panned out yet. THE SEASON AINT STARTED YET... Be patient old goat, you'll get your turn at the mike when things aren't going smoothly.

Hansen was pissed the other day because Newman is going to be returning punts. He asked Parcells at training camp last year about Newman returning punts and coach told him that Newman isn't big enough when really it was because of the lack of quality depth a corner. He knew depth was the reason but he made a big stink about Parcells lying like Newman was too small. Hansen sucks sometimes.

Firing Dale would not only be good for the Dallas Cowboys, but also for the Dallas area and for Dale Hansen hiimself.

If they do fire him one day, I will gladly say, Good Bye and Good Ridance Dale, you've gone too far one to many times. It used to be funny but you have become a bore long ago..now you are a pain.

Yeah, he used that as an example to strengthen his argument. A moron could have concluded that this was the reason BP didn't want to use TNew as a returner ... but noooo, not Dale. What's below moron on the evolutionary scale? Must be a Dale. Then he has the nerve to give us examples of how BP should have answered these questions. Who in the heck does he think he is?
