The biggest criticism Bill is getting right now is what took him so long to go with Romo. I think he was waiting until he built the team around him. The OL,
RB's, WR's and especially the Defense had to be ready for a young QB to step up and be successful. ALA Big Ben in Pittsburgh. Also I know the Boys spent big money on Henry to be a DB. But wouldn't Henry make a perfect FS? Put Glen in next to Newman and maybe next year take a DB in the First round. Instead Watkins got thrown to the wolves to early. which might of ruined his confidence.

I disagree. I think it was a combination of things... too much loyalty to Drew... thinking Drew would get it together. BP prob thought that putting Romo in would spell .500 at best in his mind. No one thought Romo could be what he is so early in his career. He probably talked himself out of starting the season with Romo and then I think he talked himself out of it again after Bledsoe lost those games for us... when a reporter asked about "changing QB's" Bill replied "no, because I dont think that is the problem" - I think he did and he just didnt trust this team to unproven, unexperienced player
