The NFL preseason is underway. And we're supremely confident that EIU's own Tony Romo, the backup quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, will actually play this season.
So it's time to revamp the TONY ROMO DRINKING GAME.
Romo saw so much time in one preseason game last year that it's clear that, if he did start, Billy wouldn't be able to spell his own name. So now, choose from two Romo Drinking Games: A version for when he's the backup and one for when he's the starter.
As always, feel free to adapt the Romo Drinking Game for your own beverages/alcohol tolerance.
Romo Drinking Game: Starter's Edition
If Romo throws a pass: Take 1 drink.
If Romo completes a pass: Take 2 drinks.
If Romo holds for a field goal or extra point: Take 2 drinks.
If Romo throws for a touchdown: Drink one beer.
If Romo runs for a touchdown: Do a shot.
If Romo or EIU are misidentified: Drink one beer.
If Romo commits a turnover: Open a new ice-cold beer and pour it down the sink.
If Romo is taken out of the game for injury or poor performance: Drink three beers, throw the empties at your TV and storm out of the room.
If Eastern Illinois University is mentioned: Cheer loudly and spin around three times.
Romo Drinking Game: Backup Edition
If Romo's name is mentioned during the broadcast: Take 1 drink.
If you spot Romo on the sidelines: Take 1 drink.
If Romo gets in the game to hold for a field goal or extra point: Take 2 drinks.
If Romo gets into the game as quarterback: Drink one beer.
If Romo or EIU are at any time misidentified: Drink one beer.
If Romo scores/throws a touchdown: Do a shot.
If Romo commits a turnover: Open a new ice-cold beer and pour it down the sink.
If Eastern Illinois University is mentioned: Cheer loudly and spin around three times.
