It's funny how they constantly talk about how the RB position loses importance in today's NFL and how no one should draft an RB as high as a top ten overall. When you can draft an elite player then it really doesn't matter what position he plays, someone is going to go up and get him.

They say that a lot of imitation goes on when building a team in the NFL. It's a copycat league. I also think that the NFL game is somewhat cyclic.

When the entire NFL tends to go a certain way then they focus less on the aspect that is being phased out. We have all noticed how DE's are now referred to as EDGE players. They are getting much quicker but smaller at the same time. This leaves the entire NFL vulnerable if one team decides to go retro and reintroduce that element that defenses no longer pay as much attention to.

In a sense, I think that accounts for the great rookie season that Elliot had. Only three RB's had been drafted that high in the previous ten seasons and they had a total of 0 Pro Bowls between them. It was an opportunistic time for the Cowboys since it also coincided with the excellent O-line in the prime of their careers playing together. It didn't take long for some of the better teams to emphasize a return to respecting the running game.

I think Robinson will go in the top ten and it wouldn't shock me at all if it was the Eagles.

Robinson would be a wasted pick the way the Eagles play offense. The Eagles will either trade the 10th pick or draft a player of need. The only team that really needs to draft a running back is Tampa.

 at fans who don't realize how important the TE position is. You'd think they'd have realized after George Kittle set fire to our defense not even 2 months ago.

They are not going to keep running Hurts the way they have. That bad injury would be inevitable.

With Robinson, play action would be even more effective, Hurts wouldn't run as often but when he did, he would have more room.

This is a luxury high pick they got in a trade and Robinson would be the cheapest way to add an elite impact player to their offense. Considering their receivers and TE, the only way they might be stopped would be the reincarnation of the Doomsday Defense (possible) or a devastating rash of injuries.

As I recall, drafting Hurts was considered a "wasted pick" by most.

If the Eagles end up getting Bijan Robinson I will punch the first Eagles fan I see right in the face.

I cannot imagine Howie drafting a running back at 10 unless it is Jim Brown. Let’s see how Robinson does at the combine.

The Eagles aren’t drafting a RB top 10…they’re smarter than that.

They’re going to replace one of their FAs CB / Edge that play a premium position.

He’s different. I keep trying to tell you guys.
Yeah I don’t think people realize it just because Musgrave didn’t put up good stats in college. At 6’6 250 he’s probably going to have a better 40 and 3 cone time than 90% of the WR’s. He’s a special athlete and will be a matchup nightmare. Durability is the biggest question tho…

As long as the medicals are a green light he’s way ahead of Mayer as long as they both test like I expect them to.

He’s the one TE I could probably get on board with at 26. 6’6 and might run in the 4.5s.

Musgrave is as overrated a prospect that I’ve seen in a while. He checks all the physical boxes. But I‘m watching his tape and I don’t see it. Kincaid and Mayer are better prospects IMO.
