I included elements on the defensive line and there a group of Williams in a picture that need differenciation. I am helping an inclusive picture not selling a publication.

Your stumbling block at present is needing two defensive tackle and two defensive ends...go play your game.

Williams is a common name through this, not trying to be a name calling without selection relevance. :popcorn: :muttley:
 
Kenneth Grant is a virtual lock to go later in the first round, but players like Walter Nolen and Derrick Harmon may fall. They aren’t ideal 1-techs like Grant, but they are intriguing prospects, nonetheless. 1-tech prospects like Darius Alexander, Tyleik Williams and Deone Walker could all be available at 44. Even 3-techs like Alfred Collins and T.J. Sanders could be options in the second round.

Even with Osa Odighizuwa possibly returning, Dallas is in need of both a starting 1-tech to position alongside him and a pressure player to platoon with him. Former first-round pick Mazi Smith has improved, but to many he’s still a ways away from being considered starting caliber. Finding a bulky body capable of holding down the fort against the run is imperative for Matt Eberflus’ system. The Cowboys can’t afford to be neglectful here or they run the risk of getting run over again in 2025.

Playing devil’s advocate, could there be a scenario without Lawrence in Dallas for next season? When they drafted Marshawn Kneeland in the second round last year, it became evident that he could be Lawrence's successor. The front office could re-sign Golston to a long-term deal rather than opt for a one-year contract with the veteran pass rusher. Golston is younger and could continue to build on his career-high of 5.5 sacks. Lawrence’s return might hinder their development.

Stefon Diggs: Ah, you knew this name was going to make the list, if only for the romance of it all. Just imagine a Cowboys' team that fields both Stefon and Trevon Diggs in 2025 and, furthermore, consider how insane the practices would be with the two All-Pros constantly lining up against each other, driving each other to heights only a blood brother can.

The need to have a high-end 3-technique at defensive tackle is why the Cowboys are pushing to retain Osa Odighizuwa. The need to field a well-balanced DE opposite Micah Parsons is why Lawrence is still a good fit. While Lawrence’s sack production has declined over the years, his pressure rate and run stop grades have remained strong. He’s a do-it-all player who is sound in all aspects of the game and up until last season he’s been extremely durable as well.

Obviously, price will play a big part in this union. Pro Football Focus estimates Lawrence’s value to be two years at $7,500,000 per season. It’s only slightly more than the Cowboys other free agent DE, Chauncey Golston, and offers the Cowboys a proven commodity. Even if both players are moving in opposite directions, Lawrence offers leadership and track record of recent success that’s difficult to match

My point is… You didn’t say DL you said DE.… Then right under that list in Milton Williams. This is not a big deal, no worries.

That was resolved 3 posts ago and you still haven't responded to football reasons aimed at signing Osa and Parsons,

Now tell me you would just drop Lawrence, Ace...

with the rest of your non-contributing, on need to do moves to continue building defense, now! :popcorn: :hammer:

There were a couple Williams directly related to Dallas as well as prospects. Defensive line was the direction of focus.

More than two defensive ends were included as well as more than two defensive tackles. I don't care if you think your backside is above reproach. It isn't...One Williams is going ahead and retiring.

You are NOT a critic of an article or above reproach yourself. I was given a Congressional Appointment by Kika de la Garza...SO?
