I would literally sprint out of my house if that happened..from my living room until I can't run anymore..so possibly all the way to my next door neighbor's house?

would you be happier then when we landed Bryant with the 24th?

It'd be pretty close.

The only way I'd be happier is if we drafted Peterson and then Jedi mind-tricked the Bengals and acquired Rey Maualuga.

4 QBs won't go in the top 10. There's a shot 3 go, but not 4

I keep reading that, if the draft were today, we'd pick 7th, not 6th. I know, details.

This mock is ********. There is absolutely zero chance AJ Green goes #10 unless he gets hurt in the bowl game or at the combine. He is likely going to be the 2nd pick in the draft, and won't fall out of the top 5.

Spoken like an expert who sees it everyday in the mirror, based on your signature.

I think he's close on the players. I'd wager that barring something like injuries or failed drug tests, at least 8 of those guys are going in the top 10.

Fairley and Quinn are the 2 that interest me the most. Peterson would be a nice consolation prize.

I also think we have a good chance at Peterson, that's the guy I really want as well.

I remember when I got to the DFAC for breakfast the morning of the draft after the first round was over in Iraq, and frantically watching the ticker to see who we got...there were a bunch of people huddled around the TV and when #24 came across and it was "DAL - Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma State" the Soldiers (and me) around the TV erupted in cheers.

Good times in the desert.

If I am not mistaken didn't the Denver drafted a Wr in the first last year. This is not the lions during Millen era they need defense. Name the last time in history of the draft a WR was drafted second?

Yes they did... I don't really see where someone said they'd draft another WR, but I may be missing something.

With Brandon Lloyd breaking out and a few other young WRs to develop in Denver, I agree that they will not burn a top 2 pick at the position.

I also agree that you get the beef or QB when picking that early. RBs and WRs can be had later.

Yep...happens all the time.
I don't see Denver going that route at #2, but agree that Green will probably go very high.

I can't see him going 2 either, but I can see him going to CIN if they pick 3rd at the highest. I think the most likely scenario is someone trading up for him

You think Anthony Spencer & Bigg Davis for Rey, Michael Johnson & a 6th qualifies?
