What does everyone think? Is TO right about getting in Romos buisness or is he wrong for trying to give his advice?

if T.O. was serious he should just shut up and worry about him not being a distraction to his team

What you think about Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo?
OWENS:
Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite in this locker room or in Texas Stadium. I think with everything that has happened and the way Tony played and the comparisons between her and Carrie Underwood that she's kind of taken his focus away . . . She was hot on my list until last week (laughs). I got a message for her when we make the playoffs, so stay tuned.

Look, I listened to the portion of TO's intyerview where he was talking about her, and it was all said as a big joke. All the reporters in the room were yukking it up big time. TO was simply having a good time, with no malice intended. One can take a lot of things that are said, take it out of its live context, put it in print, and it takes on a whole new meaning. This was absolutely one of those occassions.

That may be all true, but if you know people are going to take it out of context, why give them ammunition?

That's what I don't like about T.O.

He knows what's going to happen, and he still flaps his lips.

The guy never learns. :(

If him commenting on Tony's piece is the worst thing he does this year, then you have nothing to worry about.

How do you know this is not something Romo and Jessica put him up too?

If T.O. is against it (or appears to be) everyone will jump on their side.

You'll have to excuse him, he sat on a big stick awhile back and so far nobody has been able to remove it.

Tyke, I am neither a TO apologist nor a TO basher, but youi're saying TO should never say anything to anyone, because it could be taken and twisted just like this was. TO has every bit as much right to have fun and joke around as you and I or anyone else and you should not hold that agianst him. Below is a portion of Micky's Mail where Mick addresses a comment regarding the TO interview. Please read and also listen to the audio of the interview. You may change your mind.

Carlos Martinez, Campbell, Calif.: No question, just an observation. I find it highly amusing that T.O. would call out Jessica Simpson for losing the game but makes no reference to his dropped passes that certainly could've helped win this game against the Eagles. I understand why Bill Parcells vacated: Everyone was waiting on T.O. to implode and his recent comments confirm that he is clueless when it comes to reality. I don't remember Jessica Simpson dropping potential TD passes from Romo. Some please tell T.O. to shut up and play, let your play do the talking and quit causing potential trouble by expressing your ill-advised comments about things that aren't even relevant to this case.
Mickey: You know, I'd tell you, right on, if I thought Owens was making serious comments. He was goofing around, but once again, the media takes advantage of him, uses him to promote their own good. This was shameless. You should have seen the self-satisfying smile he flashed after his final comment. I mean, all teeth.

ESPN is trying to stir up trouble and make a story out of nothing. On the home page they have the story about what he says. Later in the day, they have another story saying he may of been joking, but you have to look really hard to find that one, no mention of it on the home page or in the other article. Nohting beats selective reporting.

I think if Jessica wants to watch the Cowboys play, just like she did against the Jets and Packers, she should be allowed to w/out booing or bashing. If T.O really feels Jessica is a distraction to Tony, then T.O needs to direct the comments to Tony. Jessica is just a spectator like the rest of us.
