I think that the trade gives them flexibility. They now have a lot of options and will not have to force a pick. I think it guarantees that they get a running back between 56 and 87 and gives then a good shot of getting one of the top linebackers.

Totally agree. Could even tinker moving the 56th pick down a couple spots or so, thus gaining another pick. It just depends on whos there in our gaggle of guys that we like. Id like to see if we can get at least 1 additional pick tonight,preferrably a 4th.

I'm thinking that another trade back could happen. They got very lucky in the 1st round in that Arnold fell to 24 and the Lions didn't have a 4th round pick and gave them pick 73. Maybe they can get lucky again and gain another pick.
