Our 2nd round draft pick + Ron Leary for Chandler Jones. (ARI gave up a lower 2 and Jonathan Cooper for Jones, so ours would have been a better offer IMO). I realize Jones will want a truck load of money to resign, but he is a premier DE and we could afford to pay him, or if not, franchise him next year. Either way, we would be guaranteed his services for this year and next. Knowing that we were not going to resign Hardy, Gregory is an addict, and Lawrence was going to be suspended, I'm not sure why we did not pursue this. Thoughts?

To be fair though he has a drug issue also and his brothers are both PED users. That would be just as bad as gambling on Gregory and much much worse than signing mcclain.

That would be getting another DE with drug problems to replace our DE with drug problems. How does that help anything?

We have no idea how many times he smokes the stuff on a daily, or weekly basis.

From what I remembered hearing, I think the Patriots actually reached out to the Cardinals specifically on that trade and they didn't float Jones out there to the rest of the league. Not sure how true it was, but I believe it came from Pat Kirwin on Sirius NFL Radio.

If Zeke gets suspended and then maybe Dez acts up and we can set the bar at 5 players. And with our 4th round QB just squeaking by on not guilty on his DUI arrest it could have been a mind numbing 6 players. Oh well. There is still plenty of time left in the season.

IDK, I would think so......his brother just got busted for PEDs in MMA, so they may be trying anything and everything
