BOOM
Dez has "game speed"...Don't get it twisted. He can/will run by you and away from you. He's 10x better than a finesse track type receiver. He's just a playmaker.

Dez is 42nd ranked in receiving yards so far in 2016.
Dez was 121th ranked in receiving yards in 2015.
Clearly injuries have affected his performance over the past couple of seasons.
Over the past 3-4 weeks we've seen a glimpse of what Dez can do in this new offense. He is perfectly suited for that role.
IMHO Dez is somewhere in in the top 4-10 WRs in the NFL. No shame in that.
Dez can be taken out of a game if a defense wants to. Those three guys I mentioned destroy defenses no matter how much the defense tries to shut them down.So Dez is a top 5-7 receiver. And?
I got the three you listed, in that order, then Evans and Dez. Is that not elite?
Julio Jones has been eliminated from multiple games this season, multiple. Doesn't mean he isn't a "great" or "elite" receiver. But then again, I don't understand these labels and rankings either. I thought winning was all that mattered.Dez can be taken out of a game if a defense wants to. Those three guys I mentioned destroy defenses no matter how much the defense tries to shut them down.
He missed time due to injury, this offense is loaded with skill position players, and this offense is predicated on the run...so in terms of measuring his ability as a receiver, that stat is pretty useless.Dez is 42nd ranked in receiving yards so far in 2016.

Then in 2015, they planned on selecting running back Todd Gurley before the Rams surprisingly chose him with the 10th overall pick.
Very good read:
And this is AWESOME!!!"Dez I heard about your loss. I want to let you know I've been through it. First and foremost, I want to let you know nobody, I mean nobody, can tell you how you are supposed to feel. There aren't any words to comfort someone except he is in a better place than this world and there is not anything to say to make you feel better right now. Please know I'm here for you brother. I love you man and anytime you want to talk about this or anything, my ears are open. I know I'm young, but I've been through damn near everything so I don't hesitate. Today is your day. This game is the only thing that gives me peace. That's why I'm so passionate about it, and I know you are the exact same way. Let's go have a day and honor your dad."

This surprised me too. Gurley behind our OL would have been a beast.I don't recall ever hearing this, does anyone else?
That doesn't make him a "triplet 2.0". That makes him just another decent NFL receiver soon.Dez was never fast. His speed isn't wha tmakes him great. It's his strength, hands and catch radius. And increasingly he's becoming an effective route runner. It's the wide receivers that rely on their speed that will fall off a cliff. Dez after his elite days pass will transition into a better late career Brandon Marshall.

Dez had one of the most productive starts in NFL History. And he looks to be returning to that level of production after a fight with injuries. That doesn't make him a "triplet 2.0". That makes him just another decent NFL receiver soon.
And the dude gets hurt more often than Romo.
