Other teams might be able to develop guards relatively cheaply and easily, but Dallas isn't one of them.

And apparently other teams can't develop good OL positions relatively cheaply an deasily, which is why Seattle will be starting Breno Giacomini again this year after he was so bad he was benched last year, and why Atlanta will be starting .... whoever they're starting at RT, and why Denver is currently starting Manny Ramirez at center, etc. etc. Guess they need to phone in the season, because you kant win in teh trenchez!!!! with those type of guys.

I call it irrational to ignore current events (two first round picks in three years, the current develop of a left guard, and the efforts to sign a vet RG) due to past events. Under JG, this team has placed a greater emphasis on the OLine, so I don't really care what happened before him.

I can see your points and agree with them.

But I can also acknowledge the mistakes that got us here. The failures that put us in this hole.

I agree with you that we are in a better place and I feel we are turning he corner, it's just that we had and to some degree, still have, a bit more to go.

What is this drivel even supposed to mean? We haven't developed a interior lineman on the cheap in decades. I'm merely suggesting that investing a premium pick at guard might be a better idea than trotting out Derrick Dockery types.

People are generally happy that we drafted Frederick; why not double down??

Guards have generally been drafted later than the first but that seems to be trending upwards. Some great guards in the past were drafted in the first some very early.
