I think the team needs to pass the ball to set up the run and I'd like to see more shotgun when they are at home. I don't think the problem is so much at the OT spots as it is with the center and guard spots. On the times that the OT's were "beaten", the G-Men were able to penetrate on Rivera and Johnson and that forced Bledsoe to move and then get sacked or hit.

Rich..............

Good point, shotgun is much harder to use on the road in a noisy stadium.

I hate Bledsoe in the three step drop. If the 1st read isn't there he has people (usually Johnson) getting pushed back into him and he's trapped. I agree with the poster's point about the max protect. If we could run better the passing game would be much better also.

I thought Tucker did ok overall aginst a great player. Gurode did ok also, but his one whiff was the difference in the game. Petitti had a rough day but Strahan is a beast. I'm by no means writing him off, he's doing his level best and he should get better as he gets stronger. But I would not be surprised if we see Columbo next week. Johnson struggled. It may have been partly due to the injury but I'd have to bench him also. You have to give the Giants credit on D- they played a great game.
