I know Cowboy Chris, we watch games together in Orlando and here's who he is and why it happened.
He is a former high school quarterback and played and coached college baseball. I coached college basketball. I'm sure there are many of you who are like us in that we don't paint our faces, we don't ask for autographs or hang out in the team hotel. I understand that and appreciate the passion, it's great. We get just as nervous, get just as mad and down when we lose and get just as excited when we win.
We just take a more analytical approach to players and performance. Chris (nor myself) do not pretend to know x's & o's. We don't understand professional linebacker gap responsibilities or pre-snap reads but we do know this.
There are certain tenants in athletics that are a constant in order to succeed.
Preparation, Execution, Discipline, Passion and Accountability.
Chris saw none of that in this team and he lit those guys up. A cop almost kicked him out of the area but left him alone because he wasn't swearing and he wasn't abusive...he was simply right.
