The Truth Is Tony Romo Isn't a Choker

I believe my eyes. Yes, Romo is a good QB with great stats and no, he has not choked in every single big game. However, he has continually played below his norm in late season big games or games when it's lose and go home. On top of that, he has personally made the mistake that sealed the loss in many of those situations. He has been a letdown too many times for me so I would say he is a choker but I fully recognize his great stats, the fact that he hasn't choked in all big games, and the fact that he made watching the Cowboys fun again. I like him and hope he figures it out and wins a super bowl but I don't have confidence that he will.

The point is actually this...the fact we have to talk about this every season is not a good sign. The fact that there have to be multiple posts per week telling us that Romo doesn't choke, blah blah blah... is not a good thing.

With receivers worse than the Cowboys' receivers, Brady still gets it done. I turn away thinking the game is over, and Brady marches the Patriots 70 yards for the game-winning touchdown. The man is simply amazing.
