The type of RB we should get

Should be a Brian Westbrook type to go along with MBIII, that to me would be better then trading for DMAC

rofl @ breaking the bank for backs. We're a passing team first. There's no sense of cashing in on something Redball is only gonna use 15-20 times a game.



We need a speed back who can make good cuts and isn't afraid to attack the middle of the line. I'd like an Addai style type back, but I think his holes are made out of spreading the defense out with the receiving corp. Not sure how well that would work with our massive O-line.

A scat back is the usual thought; though maybe it would be smarter to go after a guy like MB3 only faster.

A guy with speed who hits the wholes and gives you that added dimension of catching out of the backfield. A Westbrook type would be beautiful cause he's fast, shifty, doesn't mind going in the middle, and adds that extra dimension out of the backfield for our passing attack.

I agree that we shouldn't break the bank.

But I'm saying on pure abilities alone Westbrook would be the perfect fit.

My fault. I misread your post and thought you said you wanted Westbrook AND McFadden, not Westbrook THAN McFadden.
