Yeah its a fantasy...yeah, probably only happens in Madden...but everyone else can throw them out there, so I might as well too.

First 8 picks go off the board with no trades...Fins take Jake Long, Rams take Chris Long, Falcons take Dorsey, Raiders take Gholston, Chiefs decide they have to have Clady to play LT, Jets take their QB Matt Ryan, Pats take McKelvin, then the Ravens take Albert as heir to Ogden

Jones gets on the phone and calls the Bungles...tells them he wants to trade up...their first is worth 1350 pts, our two firsts are worth 1440...the difference is the Bungles technically "owe" us a 4th. Jones gives the Bungles our two firsts and this years 2nd, plus next yrs 2nd..we probably throw in LB Bobby Carpenter and WR Miles Austin too...

Why do we do all that? Not only do we get McFadden, we pry Chad Johnson from them as well...we've already traded for Pac Trash under this fantasy scenario...we end up with two premier offensive talents plus a primo CB/PR guy in Jones...and we still have picks in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th rounds to add guys this yr...and we're only short the 64th pick overall in next years draft

Hey if it happens....you heard it here first :D

Or Dallas simply trades one of their 1st round picks for a younger and better person in Roy Williams and drafts a compliment back at some point because we already have a starter that's going to demand starter money.

Sorry, I see no point in any scenario for trading away all those picks for a share time back.

That is a lil far fetched. Not out of the realm of possibility though. I would be much more happy with Cason. RW. Charles and Slaton.

You have your fantasy, I have mine...in mine Millen keeps his word and wont deal Roy Williams

and we arnt trading away "all those picks" for a share time RB by himself...we're also getting one of the top 5 or 6 WR's in the game to pair with Owens

I should have continued the fantasy and said that after gaining 1100 yds and scoring 14 tds as a rookie, after this season the Cowboys put the franchise tag on MBIII and then trade him for a 1st and 3rd rd pick next yr...which they're likely to have a good market for because the 2009 RB crop isnt going to be loaded

It's crazy, but if we can pull this off and not give up our first next year, I would love it. But, if we get McFadden, it would mean that we would probably lose Barber next year, and I don't want to see him doing what he does for us on another team, like NE. So McFadden going to Oakland, and us keeping Barber is much easier for me to swallow than Barber being on another team.

Not sure why we would loose Barber next year

Well, the one thing with franchising Barber is that no one would trade us two first round picks for Barber. And even if we transition tag him, I still don't think we would get anyone to trade for him. RB isn't a pick that really warrants a big trade.

Well, I think if we get McFadden, than Barber will just sign his tender, and become a FA next year. And even if Barber wanted to stay, I think it will cost us too much money for the RB position. Remember, he has Rosenhaus as his agent, and I don't remember a lot of deals Rosenhaus did that gave the team a discount to stay. I guess in the end the agent works for the player, but I just don't see us keeping Barber if we get McFadden, especially with Newman and Ware's contracts coming up, and Hamlin needing to be re-signed.

This is true. I was sad to see him with that agent. I am thoroughly convinced that Barber cannot carry the load for a full season by himself. I hope he realizes that big D is the place for him.

really...remind me again what the Bills got just last yr for McGahee? and Barber is a far better player IMO...what about Parcells and Curtis Martin? didnt the Dumbskins give up Champ Bailey AND and 2nd for Clinton Portis?

teams dont have to give us two first rd picks...we can choose to trade him for less...not saying I want to trade him, but with a weak RB crop next yr I'd bet we'd easily get a 1st and something else (3rd or 4th minimum) for Barber if he has another good yr

yeah he can do that, then we can franchise him and trade him to the highest bidder

Rod Maranelli. Millen hasn't said anything.

Then here is my big, bold, far-fetched prediction...

Dallas swings a deal for Pacman.

Dallas deals for Roy Williams from Detroit with one of the first rounders. They do so because Jerry wants it, and Jerry usually gets what he wants. He may even give more than some fans would like...

Then Dallas uses their other first round draft pick and sends it to Atlanta for two of their second rounders. So Dallas doesn't even pick in the first round. They pick three times in the second though, and they come out of that first day with a RB, a CB, and a S - likely in that order.

On the second day, they grab another offensive lineman and linebacker, who will both make the team.
