If they designate Collins a post June 1 cut, they would have plenty of room to re-sign their guys AND add an impact free agent.

You do not actually get the money from a post June 1 cut until June 1 (even if it is a pre-designation). So unless they are signing them after June 1st, it is not going to help.

Be interesting to see Kevin Stefanski and what plays he can cook up to free up Cooper in open space. I will say this going up against Baltimore Pittsburgh and the SB Bengals in 2022 twice a yr will not allow Cooper to feast on donuts at the NFC East breakfast bar .

I’d rather just release him and make him a post June 1st cut and take the $10 mill. You can restructure with the intention of massive cap relief next season.

We will need $7-$8 million to sign our draft picks. Sign them in June after Collins money comes off the books and use all the money we have now on free agency.

Best case scenario is on draft day, trade the 5th round pick for a fourth for the following year, that’s a win.

Reality is we missed our window when we were paying our QB peanuts vs 20% of the entire cap.

Go look and see what he counts toward the cap this year before making that comment. The cap is 205 million. He will count around 26. Math is your friend and not cliches

Will be interesting to see if he makes Baker get resigned similar to him getting traded here and doing what he did with Dak. With his brand coming out, target complaints and vaccination status which i believe in 2 years wont even matter this was kind of in the tea leaves
