I've made a few trade back mocks before but this one is going to have a little of both, Enjoy.

Round 1. Dallas trades pick 18 & 80 to New Orleans for pick 15.

Pick 15. Sharrif Floyd DT Florida- Lotuleli has a clean bill of health now and very well could be the first DT off the board now pushing Floyd down since some have problems with his arm length.

Round 2. Pick 47 to Atlanta for picks 60 & 92.

Pick 60. DJ Swearinger S South Carolina-Late 2nd to early 3rd is probably the ceiling for where Swearinger goes. Eric Reid is probably the teams top 2nd round safety target but I, like most of you here know Swearinger is the better prospect of the two.

Round 3.

Pick 92. Brian Winters OG Kent State- To be honest I've seen this guy anywhere from late 2nd to the 4th rounds in some mocks but before someone says he won't be there, remember none of us know what will happen. If he's on the board here, he'd be great if indeed we're switching to a zone-blocking scheme.

Round 4.

Pick 114. Le'Veon Bell RB Michigan St- He might go a little higher as well but if not he would be great value at this pick. Bell is great big back but unlike most we've seen if you watch him play you can actually tell he has pad speed for his size. He's also a pretty good pass catcher out of the backfield from what I've seen of him.

Round 5.

Pick 151. Marquise Goodwin WR Texas- He has speed that's for sure, but can he use it to play football at the highest level? I've seen him play several games and honestly I've not been overly impressed with him but that doesn't mean he can't play. He could really help us out immediately in the return game because he has a gear that Harris doesn't.

Round 6.

Pick 185. Stansly Maponga DE TCU- If he's still around in the sixth then he'd be a great pick for this team from a depth standpoint. I watched Maponga play against WVU this year and came away impressed, he kept Geno Smith uncomfortable that day.

UFA's: Nick Kasa TE Colorado, DeMetrius Harris TE UW Milwaukee, Peter Lalich QB California PA, Lane Taylor OG OK State, Luke Marquardt Azuza Pacific, Lanear Sampson WR Baylor

I love what you did here. Especially how you demonstrated a scenario where it's OK to trade up in the first round. And then recoup the third rounder. Also you made some nice selections.

I undestand what you did here and with Star's clean health and Richardson moving up he could be there and I know you probably checked the value chart, but I hate giving up a 3rd to move 3 places this far back in the draft..... just seems too rich for me.

I don't have an issue with the realisticness of your draft and I want to give you props for an original well thought out scenario.... but damn it (I) want more Oline help to come out of this draft.

I think some of the draft games got you thinking about how to recoup a pick while still trading up.
Pretty nice move IF by some miracle Floyd fell that far.
I also agree that Bell and Goodwin won't fall that far either. But you never know for sure.

I like most of the players you took, but have to assume you have us adding an OT and maybe a guard in FA. Otherwsie, this mock seriously neglects the oline.

I would bet money Floyd goes top 5. Now, I do think there is a greater chance that Star or Lane falls, and I'd sacrifice a third to land either.

The Cowboys went heavy on defense last year in the draft, spending their top three picks on defense. I doubt the Cowboys go heavy on defense again unless a very good player falls and they can't pass him up. And I don't think Floyd is a player who would knock Warmack or Cooper out of the running.

Um, yes, Floyd is the type of player that would knock a couple of guards out of the running.
