The Video Game Thread

Game has been released today, Xbox, PS5 as well as Steam/pc. Standard edition is $50 which I believe includes the two expansions, deluxe edition is $60 and includes armor, weapon sets and soundtrack Etc. Appears to be a sizable download at around $125 gigs. Couple games I bought in the last week will be put on the back burner for this. Will log in Steam this afternoon and check it out
Downloading now. Free on Gampepass but I sprung for the deluxe at $9.99

Going to be interesting to see how well it does. If it does well commercially at critically, you could see a Morrowind remake down the line.

Virtuos did the remake. They do mostly support, and did a couple very good ports, but this is their first project of this scope

A Morrowind remastered should be a no-brainer, instant purchase from me.

Anybody ever played Black Myth: Wukong? Gamefly is sending it to me. Looks interesting, though I read that it's a very difficult game. Lol

After playing a few hours of Oblivion, hats off to Virtuous. Very very impressive work for a "Remaster" of a game old enough to probably need a "Remake". Outside of visuals, they struck a great balance of improving the game, and leaving a game people loved alone. People are starting to use the Oblivion remaster to complain about other remasters

The game runs decently, not perfect. Got a warning when I booted up the game requires six logical cores, the i- 7 4790 k only has four logical cores but with hyperthreading technically eight. Do have a 4070 GPU though which helps. When I was in the sewers Etc I was getting 80 or so frames per second then when I hit the open world they dropped in the 50s. From what I've seen so far I like it

I dont think I have played this since 2010 or so. Are they using the Skyrim soundtrack?
