The Vikings Defense

I understand that they have played some good teams, and the issues with Everson Griffen. Still, why has the number one defense from last year looked like one of the worst defenses in the league. 21st in total yardage average 381 yards given up. Giving up 27.5 points a game.

Cousins has to be wondering what happened to rushing the football and great defense to take pressure off the passing attack. They are dead last in rushing the football.

Their secondary wasn't that great at the end of last year & in the playoffs. If there are weaknesses, teams will figure them out & exploit them.

They need to get Dalvin healthy & going. My second round FF pick ain't winning me diddly!

Harrison Smith is honestly washed up. He’s barely better than Jeff Heath at this point. Their LB’s are also overrated. They have a good DL and solid CB’s.

Terrence Newman was the glue.

Their defensive ranking last year was the product of playing a bunch of crappy offenses and has always been overrated in general. They played 7 games against passing offenses that ranked 25th or worse, and that doesn't include Cleveland.


They can't run this year because their entire OL is hurt.

the Vikings are in trouble if they lose to the eagles sunday I don't think unless they get things turned aound quickly they make the playoffs

Not a big Vikings fan, but I hope they beat the Eagles. To me they were never as stout of a D as their hype. I haven't seen them yet this year, but they're the afternoon game today.

Just a btw...I won my 1st ever bet picking the Chiefs. My Dad's buddy was so perplexed that he doubled my payout & gave me 50 cents.
