I know this isn't a popular topic compared to the patriot* threads and the "trade Roy threads". But we do have a game against the vikings this sunday, for those of you who forgot.;) I don't know much about the vikings except for a few things.
#1 jackson is an average at best qb.
#2 AP is one helluva rb
#3 they have a good D-line

so can anybody tell me

#1 how is there o-line? are they big or undersized?
#2 how is there lb core?
#3 how is there secondary?
#4 do they still have bums at wr?

I also want to stop talking about our loss. It's over and we gotta move on.

It is time to start talking about the Vikes game and our need to beat them. We've played 2 games but not our best and win one. We gotta make sure to win this game so we go 6-1 into the bye. We will have 3 tough games following are bye against the Eagles, Giants & the Skins. Thus the need for us to take care of business Sunday.

Min is the top rushing offense, and top rushing defense.
Min is also like 30th in pass d, and 28th in pass o.

Basically run to keep them honest but u win by passing. greise put up 300+ on them last week.

minny always plays us tough.

should be a hell of a game come sunday afternoon 3:15 in the p.m.

Yeah they always give us fits so it won't be a push over game. I have their defense in my fantasy league and they put up points. We better take em serious...

I've watched a decent amount of the Vikes this year because I have AD on my fantasy team, as well as the Vikes D.

They run really well behind the left side with Birk at center, Hutchinson at guard, and McKinney at Tackle. They also have a good blocking TE in Kleinsasser and a FB in Tony Richardson that clear holes for AD. If you look at AD's highlight reel from last week, he makes some great moves, but they all come well after he's past the line of scrimmage. That left side is absolutely mauling people.

The run D is stout with Pat and Kevin Williams in the middle. They're ok on the outside of the line, and the LBs are very solid with Greenway and EJ Henderson. Sharper's ball-hawking as a safety, and the CBs are adequate.

Ap is a beast cause hes running behind the best oline in football with steve hutchinson.

Their #1/#2/#3 WRs are Bobby Wade, and Troy Williamson, Sidney Rice
Not very studly WRs there. Quick ones though.

Their passing defense is last in the league, giving up on average 288.4 pass ypg. But their run defense is #2 in terms of yardage giving up 66.2 ypg.

They have not given up a rushing TD yet this year.

Their starting LBers are decent, EJ Henderson (beast), Chad Greenway (picked 1 spot ahead of Bobby Carpenter), and Ben Leber (ex-charger).

They dont really have any depth anywhere except RB (Chester Taylor) though.

Thank the lord that there is a thread about the game this weekend. :)

The Vikings are another RBBC team. Taylor is a decent RB and we shouldnt all be focusing on AP. Other people have said that we match up well with these guys as far as our strengths and weaknesses. Our passing O vs. poor pass D. Our high rated run D vs. their high run O. Also, IMO Jackson at QB is an extreme dud so our pass D wont really be a factor.

Wait wait, he is a beast BECAUSE he is running behind the line?.....I call bs on that one.

You know stuff like that doesn't matter when it's us playing.

(see Buffalo and Seahawks playoff game.)
